I’m not sure, if this question has been asked, but I’ll fire away anyway, if he is such a promising young player, why was he allowed to join Fleetwood on loan, last season, and why, have Celtic, let him go,i’m just a little confused, unless Celtic, are desperate for funds, and do we think stoke are paying over the odds for him, just asking. Jesus Christ, it's benjaminbiscuit's arch nemesis. [/i][/b]

Why are Celtic selling though? They are a poor side by English standard I know pre season counts for little but they would be on par with say Bournemouth for me

I know it can be deceptive but I looked him up on U Tube and on there he looks very strong and good.
Be interesting if he is used this evening v Carlisle.

"A few weeks"...
What can you tell us about Bosun Lawal? Schumacher: "I'm really pleased to get him in. He looks a really good athlete, a really powerful lad. He can play in numerous positions and will give us that versatility. I wish he had been coming in and being available for the squad straight away but the medical has picked up something minor and it'll probably be a few weeks before we see him on the pitch but he's a good one for the squad and for the future." Can overlook a few weeks if you're signing a big player on a four-year contract? Schumacher: "We need to make sure we trust the squad we've got, which we do, and add to it when we can. It would have been ideal if the medical didn't show anything but it did and then we have to err on the side of caution because he's going to be here for a long time."

Probably Oxford game at the earliest then, after the international break. That's just over 4 weeks from now.

A few weeks doesn't sound as bad with the international break coming up.

He’s a long term investment…we can afford him a few weeks recovery I feel🤷♂️…it’s surely not anything too serious 🔴⚪️

It’s all down to Celtic legend Scott Brown when he became manager of Fleetwood. He used his legendary status and pulled in a favour to get him on loan

Didn't know Cannon was Irish. That would explain him saying congrats to Bosun then. And if that's the case then the reply from someone asking Cannon if he's rocking the number 9 shirt for Stoke was probably just someone putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 Weird

Emphysema is quite a common miner injury. Don't think he'll have vibration white finger for obvious reasons.

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/stoke-city-transfer-josh-laurent-9486911Schumacher said: “He can play in loads of different positions. I spoke to one of my good mates at Fleetwood in Danny Mayor and he said he played some of his best football at Fleetwood as an attacking number 8, he scored his goals from that position – but he was recruited by Fleetwood as a centre-back, played against Derby as a right-back and did really well. He’s versatile. He’s got pace, power and ability and strength. They are all good attributes for this league and I’m sure he’ll do well in this league.”

So a 3 with him and Moran 8s and Burger / Thompson sitting? Naah he’s already declared Burger won’t play a single minute as DM and Junho will only ever play wide left. He’s just a buffoon who thinks he’s the HC. I expect the players on long term deals to start pushing the players in their final year out of the team.

We bed him in gently this year ready for him to win his place on merit and take over next year when Laurent departs

I'd like to know if we see him as the answer in the No.6/DM, or whatever you want to call it.
We desperately need one, and he looks very No.8y in his highlight reels

But if we don't, there'd be no point bringing him in as another squad body. We've got enough of them It's all a bit confusing.

So you'd imagine he'd have a good week or 2 of full training before in the squad so it makes sense.
