Lots on SLP facebook page saying one of the Asian fellas is Nakayama, because, you know, he's Asian so has to be. (Turns out they were there with Bae). Yep they are clearly Korean š¤£ I'm pretty sure 95% of people on facebook who leave comments on pages are all a sandwich short of a picnic..

I get the impression that people are just putting two and two together after Walters mentioned talking to a Japanese player and someone frpm Stoke (Schumacher?) attended a recent Huddersfield friendly.

My money's on a Volvo-driving, South Korean blogger who looks a bit like John Guidetti. Dan Skel-Ton

Possibly, but the fact they look Korean and not Japanese coupled with the fact neither look anything like Nakayama means their 2 and 2 together = about 51.

re. Dan Skelton. Not many will know this but he had to retire last season as he had a very bad work related accident. Is currently at Alsager Town as a coach working with ex Crewe player Kevin Street.
Apologies for the slight thread diversion but thought it a good idea to update the masses on an old Oatcake legend.
Aaron Hunt sends his best wishes too....

I wasn't really referring to the blokes at the game today; I was thinking more about some of the social media links people were posting last night and the fact that I haven't seen any half-reliable evidence that we're even interested in the Huddersfield player.

I thought he was a CM. A couple of people at the game today told me he was a CB?

I thought he was a CM. A couple of people at the game today told me he was a CB? He was a CB who was made into a DM. He played DM for Fleetwood last year and according to their fans and Charlie Adam he ran the show at DM.

I thought he was a CM. A couple of people at the game today told me he was a CB? Started as a centre back, Charlie Adam moved him into midfield and he excelled.

This is the same exit that George Burley was photographed entering (after the Stoke v Watford match in 2002) š the same very unimpressed face as well š¤·āāļø

He looks thrilled. Is Jon Walters hidden behind him with a knife pressed into his back whispering āNo sudden moves lad. Just slowly make your way to the medical room for your medical. Good lad.ā

Really excited about this lad. Spoke to several Celtic fans they all rate him highly. Explosive and so strong was the word for a defensive midfielder. I think we may have found what weve lacked for years.

From what I seen I really donāt see this lad as a 6/DM.
He absolutely screams Laurent replacement to me.
In September I think we end up with:
Burger Lawal Cundle
Some people will disagree but after our form without burger and him stinking the place out yesterday heās not a guaranteed starter.
Iād love to get that Wierdu fella for DM. He looks exactly the type of player I want at DM and the fact he can cover CB too.

First half he was fine and was part of a unit that collectively won the midfield battle which has happened all too rarely for us in the last few seasons. But he always tries to cover so much ground that heās invariably knackered after an hour and it really showed in that period in the second half when Coventry got on top. The first minute is kind of case in point. Goes flying into a needless tackle that he was lucky to not get booked for, leaving a big gap which Coventry exploited, then tracked back brilliantly to make a fantastic block. Sometimes I just want to tell him to calm down and let his ability on the ball do the talking and stop trying to be everywhere at once.

Bosun isnāt a naval rank, itās a job onboard ship. The Bosun, full title Chief Bosuns Mate or Buffer for short, is the senior rating in charge of upper deck seamanship proceedings. Whereas Admiral and Midshipman are, albeit at different ends of the scale of, naval ranks. Just saying Boatswain

Can't believe the amount of stick Burger is getting for yesterday. The amount of ground he covered in stopping Allen and Torp getting any kind of foothold in the game was absolutely key to our first half performance and domination.
He was superb.

He was visibly our worst player yesterday. I do agree with you, heās like a lost puppy chases everything everywhere. And heās a far better player than he shows by doing this.
