We're just pretending he did absolutely fucking nothing in his first three games then. Criticism of a footballers performances isn't an absolute for fucks sake. It's nothing to do with "pretending" it's about having common sense to see the first 3 games he has absolutely ZERO to work with. Those 3 games you could have had Haaland up front and he still wouldn't have touched the ball. Tonight proves what he can do when given chance. It's really not hard to understand |

First goal was very lucky but sometimes that’s alls it takes. He got it on target and won the lottery. The 2nd and 4th were absolutely sublime. Hopefully the start of many more. There wasn't much wrong with his third either. A perfectly taken penalty, the keeper couldn't get near it. |

Some really good finishing tonight by Cannon, hopefully he kicks on from here. |

Some really good finishing tonight by Cannon, hopefully he kicks on from here. Penalty taking is just a muscle memory. Practise, practise and practise some more. And it should be come a muscle memory that’s easy to repeat. |

His movement is brilliant. And it showed in his first few games. We just didn’t have the players to play that ball through the middle. God knows why… but it showed today once we took Moran and Gallagher off we stopped playing that ball through the middle in behind. Otherwise he could have been in double figures 😂

More happy with his celebration for the first than I am with him scoring 4. Looked like a weight off his shoulders.
A couple of superb goals. The sort of finishes you watch every other fucking side score, every weekend, and we never bag.
I don’t want to take anything away from him but it’s par for the course for him. He’ll wallop fucking loads of them.

It’s a muscle memory and with practise they should be able to slot it home from the same spot every time almost. Like a golf swing. A pro footballer should easily find the top corner most times from a penalty. It’s shameful they don’t. |
