We scored 49 goals last season and people are moaning about having options in forward positions. It’s fucking embarrassing isn’t it. Place is full of glass half empty negative moaning ball bags Have to say on the face of it, our midfield and attacking options looks better than what last year did. Let’s get behind and hope the team gels. I’m bored of watching what the last 7 years has offered, fingers crossed this young crop can have a go and give us something to cheer for. Not having to watch Campbell, Laurent, Johnson, Leris will be a huge plus for me I wonder why🤣 Everyone is but our managers generally struggle with choice. We have too many players if these players sign. Ignoring that is head in the sand stuff.

Million on the right? Koumas left, Bae advanced 8/10, Moran the other side and one of Lawal or Burger just behind? And then where does that leave the rest of the midfielders. It just feels like it hasn’t been thought through. Squad game.

Love how Bayern moans about the state of the club and then when it looks like we're on the verge of having decent attacking options has a panic attack over it. I still think we are missing good cover for the right wing so I don’t think it is decent 🤣

The players seem to be fine I think long term having 4 loan players in advanced positions is going to cause issues

And if there weren’t options, our recruitment team would be getting pilloried about being asleep at the wheel and not building a competitive squad… You only need 11 players who are the best for their position and know they will play every week whether they play well or not. None of this competition for places Bollocks. None of this squad rotation shit either. 11 players and a couple of bench options will bring success. 🙄 I’ve rarely read such bollox.

A few days ago, it was apparently a stupid decision to let Campbell go, and now complaints we'll have too many strikers...

I still think we are missing good cover for the right wing so I don’t think it is decent 🤣 Million and Koumas.. a third option would be crazy surely? We're in a lovely spot now where we have Bae & Million backed up by Koumas who looks equally adept on either side. With rotation, fatigue, suspensions and knocks they will all get plenty of minutes. Makes me laugh when fans start losing their minds over the number of players for a position and keeping them happy etc. Pretty certain the management team will have set out how many players they want for each position and will have a plan how to utilise them all. It's a 50+ game season already and they will all be used. With 9 subs named and 5 allowed to be used there's plenty of minutes for everyone. What we finally have is options off the bench, we can make subs that can impact games which we haven't had for fucking donkeys now.

Fingers crossed it happens. Let’s hope he comes off the M6 and heads up past Trentham and not via Burslem 😉

Pearson is injured until October, won't be fit til November and probably be loaned out in Jan. JT would it seem become a bit part player now you'd imagine, which he should be cos he's not good enough for a team looking to break in to the top 10 in this league. Sidibe is 17 and how many 17 year olds are playing regularly (despite what you say about him) there just aren't many that play 35+ games a season in the championship. So that leaves us with a pool of 4 "first choice" centre mids: Burger Bosun Seko Moran Which is right for a team that predominantly play with 3. There really is no issue here.
