Tbh i feel like if we can come up with the cash we’ll probably get him. Sheffield United are cash strapped atm so may not be able to make a permanent bid this window. I dont see why he’d choose Norwich or Sunderland over us? Especially with our Irish Scouse connections. Dont think either are a bigger club or have bigger ambitions. Shef U is our only rival imo and itll be whether or not theyll pay the money

I don't get this love in for Cannon, I'd rather have Koumas play there and spend the money on the defence. Only issue is if we get injuries but for me after Koumas’s performance on Saturday the bigger concern for me is RB and CM. Lawal will make a massive difference in CM, for me the priorities are RB and another decent experienced CB |

If any top six contender comes in for him, why would he come to us? Game time is one factor. Look how many attackers Sheff Utd have. He isn't going be number 1 choice all season there. Sunderland he may be but they have that young spanish lad who scored 2 against Sheff Wednesday and he looks top quality. Norwich have a Barnes and Sargeant. Atleast with us he would be the main man. |

I’ve already resigned myself to the very real possibility that our striker pool this season will be Koumas, Mmaee, and Gallagher with Lowe and Tezgel out on loan. In truth it’s probably a better set of forwards than we had last season. It’s apparent now that we need to reinforce the right side of defence as a matter of urgency. If Gallagher stays fit, its not to bad. For all his crtics, strikers playing alongside him at Blackburn have always been in the goals. His injury record is concerning though so can see why woukd be looking for another big striker |
