Looking at the flags is more interesting than the match at present! There was a banner during the Portugal vs Czechia game yesterday that just said: 'SPENGE'. I've no idea what it means but I like it. I'm not sure if anyone has replied to this yet, but Spenge is a town in Germany, presumably from where the person who's flag it is, is from. Rather than national flags with teams on, the German's seem to put their town / city on flags instead - there has been other flags during this tournament such as URBACH and HALLE/S that you will see at multiple neutral games as well as the Germany games. Whoever owns SPENGE has been going for years, tend to see it at a lot of games every tournament. |
