Good stuff let’s hope all goes to plan. I’m surprised this was put out in the media with it so close.

I’m tired of all these same old British players who are ex SJW cronies.
It’s like Pulis Stoke all over again….

Seems perhaps a Jared purchase?

Seems perhaps a Jared purchase? Just because it's a foreign player doesn't means it's anything to do with Jared. The new guy we hired is known to use the foreign market. Our scouts we have anyway will also know the foreign market

Don't really know where that way of thinking has come from to be honest.

Don't really know where that way of thinking has come from to be honest. Interpreting things JW has said and what people have said about him. It's pretty much guessing but in the absence of any sort of track record it's either that or stfu and wait and see. The latter isn't much of a talking point.

Think the theory is Walters was a key Pulis player therefore Walters thinks exactly like Pulis Who suggested that? It's been strongly implied mostly, but not exclusively, by yourself Come on your worried Walters is just going to ape Pulis

It's been strongly implied mostly, but not exclusively, by yourself Come on your worried Walters is just going to ape Pulis No doubt his association with Pulis bothers me but I'm certainly not going to ignore the evidence. So far we've signed a ball playing CB and are meant to be signing an attacking LB. That to me says exactly is out of the question. It won't stop me being worried about the thoughts they do share.

Thats fair Starting with an initial view and then changing it when things pan out differently is healthy I don't have any concerns re him being Pulis mark 2 tbh More happy to see Walters push for the fantastic stuff from that era whilst at the same time not playing the dour defensive football that marked so much of it

She has a majority holding in bet365. bet365 own the club therefore it isn't a mistake. JC runs the club and has a very significant holding in bet365, PC has a smaller holding in bet365 than either.

I was concerned when Gally was binned but not because I thought he was any good just because I feared the replacement and that it would be a regressive appointment that undermined Schu. I don't know much about Cohen but I'm fairly content he isn't that. I didn't actually agree with Schu being allowed to bring pretty much all his backroom team anyway. I think it's a bad principal and in this particular instance didn't think they had the pedigree either.

Our scouts we have anyway will also know the foreign market The list of targets was drawn up before the end of the season as was well documented at the time. I'm sure Darnbrough will have lists of his own but there is no doubt that most of the players we are looking at were scouted by Jared's team. It takes more than a couple of weeks to identify the players you want for your system and to check their background, character and talk to their agent and club. In hindsight it's why last summer was such a disaster.

Walters was one of the players who stopped performing after Christmas in that terrible run in Pulis's last season. I am sure he even talked about being bored in training. I think he appreciates Pulis's strength but also is aware of his shortcomings.
