I never thought he was particularly slow, certainly once he gets going. He's just got one of those running styles Harry Souttar isn't slow at all. I know two lads who have played against him, one who played several seasons in the Premier League and he said Harry is rapid. He's is cumbersome with his initial movements and slow around his ankles but in a foot race, he's quick. In the Premier League, be it slowness to turn or simply slowness in mind is more readily exposed than it is in the championship.

They wouldn’t sell him back here on the cheap.
It’s embarrassing for them.
Surely will loan him to someone decent for a few where he plays and keeps his transfer value.

He was immense for us but he’s best suited to being the middle centre back of three and I’d rather put my eyes out than watch another season of Stoke playing a wingback system. Thought Shuey like a back three system. ..........Iversen.......... ...Wilmot..Harry...Rose....... Hoever...Burger..Thompson...Toffolo ............Bae.............. ......Millions....New ST.......... Lovely

We wouldn't be able to come anywhere near affording him. Assuming Leicester need to keep sweet with PSR, his amortization value would be £11M. I can't see any of the teams going up or coming down taking him. If Scotland is his alternative option then he may as well stay in the Championship unless a noddy SPL medal appeals to him more. Even for Rangers or Celtic, Leicester would need to cover part of his wages. If I was Harry, I'd just come back to somewhere he knows on loan. He'll get the same Leicester wages, and he gets regular football. I can see Leicester putting an obligation to buy clause in his contract though if we got promoted.

A loan deal could easily be arranged especially since their financial troubles are rumoured to not be fixed from promotion alone.
They won't make their money back from a transfer so loaning him out somewhere is likely so that they can pay someone else the wages.
I'd have him in a heartbeat, especially in a 3. Although he is slower than some, there's video evidence on this thread to prove he can make up ground when he needs to. Class player at this level.
He will go somewhere else though.

He’s an average CB at this level and they have better players.

Lovely That’s a fucking terrifying back 3 I would have McNally back on the right of that three (McNally excelled in a three for a Coventry). Wilmot could be OK on the left, though would prefer someone left-footed there. Ideally we need to be binning off Rose once we have better.

Neither are good enough. Ok back up but shouldn’t be playing more than 15 games a season if you want to break the top half. 2 new centre backs are key.

Brendan Rogers would probably be all over the option of a season loan at Celtic and tbh if that were the case Souttar would be all over that himself Devil’s advocate of course Not sure he would go to Celtic. He is a massive Rangers fan, even went to the final of the europa league when they got there a couple of seasons ago.

Can't see past Wimot, Rose and New for the two(?) spots.

Any extra money coming our way now that Leicester have been promoted?? Yeah we negotiated a clause where if he helped get them relegated, then in the second division got dropped from the squad and barely played a game, we get an extra 10 million quid.

Sign Harry and we have a genuine shot at top 6.
He was imperious before we sold him and outstanding at the World Cup.

Lovely Hopefully he has the sense to leave it in the past. We’ve been absolutely garbage when he’s tried it, just like we were when Neil tried it. It’s so dependent on having actual decent wing-backs and neither of the ones in your prospective team is actually a Stoke player. 4-3-3 is a much better bet with our squad.

I always thought he could shift. And not a bad passer too. His long range and forward passing in general is very impressive. I'd sign him on loan or permanently if he was affordable, unfortunately I don't see this being the case
