I was there too and I got my photo in the tour book that was released later that year. Support was from Status Quo and Belouis Some! Remember him?? To be honest, no. I only saw Queen. It was the Kinda Magic tour. Probably too pissed to remember. I saw Queen (when they were really good and hadn't started poncing around) supporting Mott the Hoople at the Viccy Hall. Just saying. |

When watching games at home on a delayed iptv service I sometimes look on bet365 to check bets etc, therefore sometimes knowing when a goal is scored before it appears on my TV.
When at the ground I also occasionally check bet365 and even though I'm there, I wonder if there's about to be a goal flashing up on my screen.
(I think that makes sense)

Man Utd aren't in my top 5 most hated clubs.. seems to be strange for a Stoke fan, but I dont care about them at all. Much more villainous sides in this country imo. Made me think... Difficult* to dislike him when he comes out with gems like this Plus his two Stoke connections sent him up in my books -appeared as a ghost/angel in the 1990s Nick Hancock Stoke TV play, and also cameo in Marvellous *but not totally impossible |

As much as I hate Arsenal, I have to admit Arsen Wenger was an excellent manager, think he played up to the crowd at Stoke knowing the response he would get.

Stoke's terminal decline over the past 6-7 years has made me enjoy football more. Gone the days where I'd be fuming if Crystal Palace pull out a shock 3 points vs Man City etc. I don't give a shit about Champo results on the whole - everyone can beat everyone - but every game in the Prem felt like we had a vested interest. Draining.
I like Klopp and have somewhat of a soft spot for Liverpool. I don't really know why.

Was maybe just there at the time. Also saw Man U v Newcastle ,Charity Shield, Shearers debut. No idea why again. I saw an England game at the WC in France. 😕 amAnd they won. A sponsor gave me tickets and my GF at the time wanted to go. We got tear gassed by police as well before the game. We were sat outside a cafe and all these canisters started landing at our feet. I never got to finish my sandwich as absolute chaos broke out. |

My eyes were burning and this fella trying to ask questions. I tried to take a discarded tear gas canister as a souvenir as you do and thing burnt my hand. I do remember Michael Knighton, remember him, was sat at one of the other tables when it all kicked off. He was probably having something fancy like a quail salad or a brie toastie with chives, we'll never know. |
