Blackburn have got cov and Leicester to play aswell so I’d be worried if I was them But won at Leeds. Nothing's a gimme including Southampton against us. It's silly season......

I've had enough of this fookin season you just know results will conspire to us needing something on the last day...

Could have done with Blackburn winning today, we would have been virtually safe now. Can’t see us going down, but need a couple of points to secure it. Can see us getting something at Southampton, if we play with a bit of confidence, instead of fear.

If we lose our last to games and don't score a goal, and Huddersfield win their last two game, they will have to score twelve more goals to better our goal difference to go above us. I'd say we're safe. We could finish above them and still go down though How do you work that out?🤔

We are available at 500/1 on Bet365 after the Blackburn v Owls game.

We are available at 500/1 on Bet365 after the Blackburn v Owls game. We were 325 last night no? How have we gone out to 500 odd? Todays result surely should have reduced the odds?

I've had enough of this fookin season you just know results will conspire to us needing something on the last day... It would be a typical Stoke move if we somehow get relegated due to a load of improbable results going against us ... 😂

Because there’s 2 slots left to fill…. If Hudds win both games, brum will finish below us? You’re right, I hadn’t factored that in. Thing is that particular circumstance is a bit of a red herring because it’s the least likely of all.. it’s more about Birmingham getting the points, not Udds

still another place to fill Yea but the original thing was about us finishing above Huddersfield (even if they win both their games), so that other spot would be Huddersfield. Like I say it’s a bit of a daft scenario because Udds are the one team we don’t have to worry about

I would celebrate if we made the playoffs or got promoted. Don't get me wrong, I am mightily relieved to be all but safe and well done to the lads for a great performance yesterday, but I am certainly not celebrating surviving by the skin of our teeth when we should never have been in this position in the first place and when we were 10 points clear of the trapdoor in mid-January. We looked down and out after the Cardiff defeat. Without the impact SJW made on the club, we may have been relegated by now already! We're safe, great. Now straight into the inquest. I really like the guy, but big decision required over whether Schumacher is the right man to take us forward. The inquest will reveal that Schumacher took over a squad that was on the floor after AN made a complete mess of 20 new additions. Schumacher had to come in and try and work out systems for a truck load of misfits who he'd never met. We were on a massive downwards trajectory so this we were 10 points clear and all was rosey in the garden is just bollox. He has steadied the ship very well and we could potentially with 2 more decent performances end up 10 points clear but now we are most certainly on an upwards trajectory. That is a success by any metric... Failing to get anything out of QPR, Plymouth and Wednesday showed truly how out of his depth Neil was. Even one win and we'd be safe now. Yes Schumacher has made some mistakes but I feel we are in a much better place to move forward

Yes Schumacher has made some mistakes but I feel we are in a much better place to move forward In fairness I just think ANs heart just wasn't in it for some unknown reason. He never seemed upbeat about anything. Just dour. He's not the kind of leader I expected and if I was sat in a dressing room listening to his dour tones I think I'd struggle to find inspiration from him. I think Schumacher is much more relatable to the players and it would appear they really do seem to be buying into whatever it is he's selling to them. I also think the fans can relate to Schumacher a lot more as well. Hence the inordinate amount of Schumacher chants at games. Maybe just maybe JC has finally got one right. Lots to do but it does feel like we've shifted in the right direction. I can sense something is changing 🙏

If Wednesday had lost we looked safe but it looks far from over now. All the teams below us have been pulling off results - at the moment the magical 50 points doesn't look enough.

It will be I think, can't see all of Wednesday, Birmingham, Plymouth and Blackburn getting to 50 points+, and even then it would come down to goal difference most likely. Another point would make absolutely certain but I still think we're about 90-95% to stay up.

Probably.
However if we lose to Southampton and Birmingham win at Huddersfield next week then it's going to make for a truly nervy last Saturday of the season.

Seriously did people not envisage this scenario yesterday? We’re fine, even with today's result

When this is eventually sought out the ticket office is going to be inundated. I am sure that many are waiting to renew there ST depending on which division we are in next season. Div 1 holds no appeal to me I am afraid.

I think in a lot of ways you’re better off playing a team that’s nailed on for the play offs and backing off/resting players than you are a mid table team just knocking it around with freedom/confidence…..
