With Huddersfield playing Birmingham especially If we lose our last to games and don't score a goal, and Huddersfield win their last two game, they will have to score twelve more goals to better our goal difference to go above us. I'd say we're safe. We could finish above them and still go down though

In my maths
If Sheff Weds dont win tomorrow they cant catch us
Brum play Huddersfield next week, both cant win, so Brum could be on 46 (or 49 if they win) and cant catch us or Hudd could be on 44 (or 47 if they win with a 10 goal swing) and cant catch us. A draw and Hudd cant catch us.
Its done, sphincter can rest.
Winner of Brum v Hudd stays up imo, massive game.

I’ll start the post-season relief wanking once Sammie Szmodics puts three past Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow.

I'd say we're safe. We could finish above them and still go down though The point being made is that both Birmingham and Huddersfield cannot get 6 points from the last 2 games. If Birmingham beat Huddersfield their max is 52 but Huddersfield max is 47. The other way around its 49 v 50.Wednesday can make 53 but horrendous goal difference if they falter and dont win all 3. We aren't going down.

I do think the Udders have gone after their drubbing today and conceding that penalty in the 10th minute of extra time last week and I think Brum will beat them next week. If Wednesday do pull off another famous win tomoz and Brum do beat the Udders then it will be game on again and quite possible 50pts will not be enough. A lot of things have got to go against us though, but it is Stoke and we will be made to suffer - and it will probably go to the last game

SW tomorrow decides it really. QPR need to lose today, brum have same gd and 46 PTS. If wed lose i can’t see any combination that puts us down I hope your Maths is better than your English.

Mathematically not safe.
If Sheffield Wednesday lose tomorrow and we were Sheffield Wednesday supporter’s I think we would be saying we are down.
I think it’s over if Sheffield Wednesday lose tomorrow, but a point v Southampton would be nice.
The players did their job today by winning and by a 3 goal margin , that’s all they could do.

Well we can only mathematically finish as low as 22nd now, and that's assuming we lose both of our games.
I just hope Blackburn get the win tomorrow so we can finally see the back of this absolute bellend of a season.
It's been exhausting.

Shouldnt lose track of the fact that Plymouth are in the mix as well, being 2pts behind us & below us on 48pts..
& they have two tough games away at Millwall next Saturday & then v Hull at home on the final day so aren't guaranteed many more points, especially on yesterday's evidence!
So even if Huddersfield & Sheff Weds do magic maximum points from their remaining games, there's still Blackburn and Plymouth who could be in danger ahead of us.
Sure we'll still be good & on for at least another point as a worst case scenario from our remaining 2x matches. 6pts would obviously be magic but think the clubs below us will be fretting a lot more than we'll hopefully need to be 🤞🏻

No Its basic maths. Just look at the table.. I think you can look at the table and see it won't happen but not that it can't happen. And that is reflected in the 375/1 odds on it happening.
