I won't comment any more on the Spanish squad per se, but if at all possible - injuries? - I think LE should have a rethink on whether to bring Joselu, because he may live to regret his non-selection. You can understand why he's not been selected, because Spain tends to play with one striker, sometimes none as they operate in tactical measures, and five have already been selected. But as one Madrid fanpage points out on his "bonkers" stats in the CL, He has slung 9.78 shots per 90 in the Champions League this season — far and away the most of anyone... Joselu also has the highest goals per 90 in the competition, most noteably, his brace off the bench against Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-finals catapulted the team to Wembley."

FourFourTwo. It was issued start of May so might be difficult to find in shops but you can order one from their website. I haven’t done so yet, but every magazine of theirs I’ve had is a cracking read.

I suppose many hoped Joselu would come on late in the CL final and score a goal - or two - to make one last lasting impression on the Spanish manager to make him regret his decision. Well he did come on very late and wasn't needed to score, but Stoke now has another CL winning alumni, so congratulations to all Stokies!
As for Joselu not making the final cut that's too bad, but who among the five selcted strikers would you leave out to make room for him...?

So we're England, 2018 was off the back of complete failure in 2016,so many were saying we wouldn't get out of the group Loads fancied Colombia before the tournament but once we had beaten them that was forgotten and it was decided by pretty much the same people that Colombia were no hopers The last Euros were faultless up to half time in the final, after that he definitely got it very wrong more so than the Croatia game imo the France game Southgate was pretty much faultless, England lacked clinical finishing on the day Theb there is the complete fallacy that he doesn't play young stars when he gave Bellingham and Saka lots of games way before many in the media were calling for them He's painted as too negative but England score plenty and attack plenty, sure he's not Boskamp all out attack but he's not Allardyce either Pre Southgate we had - for ever and constantly - endless off the pitch bollocks, Wags, Arsenal players not talking to Man United players, guff about captaincy, bad behaviour not dealt with and more all that's pretty much gone which has made a difference on the pitch as the team can just concentrate on the games He's definitely flawed re substitutions and reacting to other coaches in game changes however the rubbish stated that he's holding the team back is smply baseless Sven had a far better squad but did less for sure, Robson was more successful as a club manager failed to qualify for 1984 and lost every game in 1990 When Eddie Howe is Manager don't see him doing better It's time Soutgate had some credit Can’t argue with any of that, other than Robson lost every game in Euro 88. Curiously, that tournament was also held in Germany, we were heavily fancied to win with an abundance of attacking talent but a very shaky defence that was exposed in every game. i was based in germany in 88 and was at Frankfurt for the Russia game and we were shite

Just admit that it's really for you. There's no shame. (I've got one and I'm 41 years old 😅) So have I, put one up in each department at work and one on my boiler in the kitchen I made my employer get some branded ones produced to send to customers. Partially because it helps 'expand brand reach' but mainly because I wanted one for my wall. Marketing budget well spent 😅

Navas still knocking around? And Perez? Think Portugal have a really good squad but the Ronaldo conundrum will be a major factor. Does he play the full 90 minutes for Portugal these days?

Pepe still in the squad too Really good players, should be good to watch but squad depth is an issue for them Think they are more dangerous than most sides but as you say the Ronaldo circus could be a problem for them

Yep I was at the final They beat The Netherlands 1-0 opening game. Ireland won their opening game by the same scoreline ...was at that one . Netherlands only went through by a clearly offside goal in the last few minutes of their final group game v Ireland. Russia were ok but never in the final and didn't really impress despite getting to the final

Unlucky in all 3 losses perhaps England were beyond shit v USSR and Adams got destroyed by Van Basten v Holland, got what we deserved, nothing v Ireland though despite not playing well we should have scored 5 or 6 against a terrible Ireland (on the day) but one of those days where nothing would go in

Saw that goal the other day and I’m still a bit perplexed as to how it found its way into the net. USSR had a good side in those days, they played well in Mexico a few years before in the World Cup.
