What’s happened to the forgotten man. Has to rank as one of the worst signings ever. I dread to think how much he’s being paid. Yes he is up there with Paul Stewart. Honorary mention must go to Marco Gabbidinni…..got tone up there..or down there as one of the worst signings ever.

I heard yesterday that he’s been in Dubai warm weather training as he recovers from an injury. It would fit in with him not arriving for home games in the last month or so along with Daniel Johnson Think Johnson has been told he's not part of the group anymore He was on the bench at Hull mate and joined in the celebrations at the end so I’m not so sure about that

Unfortunately he’s just one of many utterly atrocious signings made by Stoke in the last six/seven years.
It’s not even funny, it’s that sad

He’s clearly at the club because he thanked Junho for his gift, as did a lot of the players, only 2 days ago 🤷♂️

Potentially come the summer, our striker pool could be Ennis, Tezgel & Lowe 😳

Neil wanted a target man, he got one. But, one who had missed nearly 2 seasons through 2 bad injuries and since then had scored less than 1 in 10 in the spanish second division. Really wouldn't suit Schumacher's style of football so fortunately he'll be just a one season flop. His career in Europe is finished the moment his contract with us expires. No doubt he’ll head back to Brazil and find some backwater club who’ll take him on for a few Reals.

Going into the transfer windowb last summer we could spend 25-30 million.
To come out of it all with Mmaee, Wesley and Ennis as our striking options is embarrassing.

Unlike Ennis who we have for 2 more seasons. Who is on low wages as such would be easy to shift if we don't want him That difference is really important Because of FFP we will have to have some cheap players in the squad For those that don't work out they can moved on like Surridge was and like Johnson will be in the summer For those that do like Bonham and Thompson such signings are really important, get those cheap ones right it gives you more scope to get the expensive ones like Burger, Manhoef and Wesley obviously Wesley has been a failure but they were smart re the one year deal How do you know what wages he’s on? From what I know he went on a free to Blackburn after a really good season in League 1 - and so he was probably on good money given no transfer fee involved. Doubt he took a pay cut to come here. Maybe he’ll come good / improve, but he just looks awful when I’ve seen him. Touch of an elephant.

Potentially come the summer, our striker pool could be Ennis, Tezgel & Lowe 😳 Ennis should be what, fourth choice? Third at a push. The other two both need to be loaned out at League Two level next season. Mmaee, I'm not overly arsed about. Still think there's a good player in there, and if he stays then fine but we need at least one other option. Getting rid of Campbell and Wesley should free up some significant wages. They must be two of the best paid on the book currently .

Apart from Bruges he has a grand total of 14 goals in 103 games. He’s a Brazilian striker and has even been called up to their national team before. The mind absolutely boggles why Aston Villa paid, wait for it, 22 MILLION POUNDS for him. And we think our transfer strategy is bad. Saying that, Alex Neil or whoever sanctioned the move is just as bad

Was O'Neill offered us the deal

You sure someone hasn't been on Wiki and changed his goalscoring record for 'a bost'? 'Soccer base' has him down as scoring just 4 goals for Stoke and I cant even remember more than 1 tbh Keith Scott - Stoke 30 Dec, 94 - 11 Nov, 95 - £300,000 - League Apps 22 goals 3 Cup Apps 2 goals 1 Edit, maybe he notched another 7 in a pre season Friendly against Polytechnic Old Boys
