Yesterday in the second half we were around their penalty area constantly, but it was just one more pass. Just fucking shoot. Watching highlights of the Ipswich game, they just had a go once they got there and it paid off, we've scored a few recently where they are deflected in, just do it. Very frustrating yesterday.

Because it’s easier to pass responsibility.
It’s the whole ethos of the club isn’t it?
Absolutely no one who can make a difference has the bollocks to do it and tries to let someone else have a go.
And the players do it with their shooting. They’re not willing to take responsibility and have a go.

I’d say because if they do and sky it the crowd voice their frustration so they probably think it’s safer to just give it.

Give over. And fuck if that’s the case what a bunch of wet lettuces don’t you think? Are we seriously going to keep blaming the crowd? It’s fucking pathetic.

I can’t believe we actually have fans perpetuating this absolute bollocks either. A bloke on 10k a week won’t shoot because he might get sighed at. Read it out loud and try and not to laugh at how pathetic it sounds.

For 20 minutes yesterday the fans were great, we slowly have any momentum eeked out of us when the opposition get a foothold in the game and we don't have an answer to respond. It's a lazy excuse and masks the real issue of underperforming players and manager. If they ARE offended by some comments or slight groans, go and ram it down our throats!

If anything the fans have been too nice!

they must just like putting the fans through it,,yet again we are scrambling to the safety line,, i just cannot see why when we are at home to a relegation rival we do not go for it from the off with a more attacking line up,we seem to be set up with a done loose line up,i understand away from home be a bit careful but not at home

If anything the fans have been too nice! On the other hand these fans are such special snowflakes that they can't even entertain the tought that their behavior is negatively affecting the team without breaking into full wailing wife mode. Any mentions of it puts you into full on defensive mode. It's pathetic. No one is saying it's the fans fault. Get that into your heads. We're saying you're making things worse when you boo and ironically cheer when they miss or even worse, when they come off. We're supposed to be in this together. If you can't be supportive when things are bad just fuck off.

If you can't be supportive when things are bad just fuck off. Speaking personally, I never boo or shout negatively. But I can completely understand when people do, yesterday was our first equaliser at home in 16 months. It's not hard to understand why fans are a little bit irate is it? I've seen things far worse than this. I've seen fans spit at managers, storm directors boxes. I still turn up and will always support, so please don't tell me to fuck off. Yesterday the fans were patient, and more than helped the team.

Speaking personally, I never boo or shout negatively. But I can completely understand when people do, I don't. I understand that people are fed up. Who isn't? But it's counterproductive, and they're acting like spoiled brats. And most of the booers wouldn't know what "support" is if it bit them in the face. In fact, they don't deserve success.

Why do you always have to take the wrong end of a stick with everything you post? I’m clearly pointing out something that I’d say happens at most clubs where fans are a bit fed up, annoyed, pissed off, with certain things or performances. Players can rightly or wrongly take this option rather than risk getting groans from the crowd. I’m not even blaming the crowd just pointing out a fact. You’ve clearly got issues

And no, for the god knows how many times, I’m not blaming the bloody crowd for it

As in have you not heard the crowd moan and groan when a player shoots and misses by a mile. This applies to all players at all clubs not just Stoke. And for the record all players should grow a pair and shoot and take the stick if they do hit the corner flag

We all know how bad we’ve been. We all know you want the Coates family out. We all know you moan about everything. How do I personally put up with it? I’m a fan, I always will. I have a life outside of Stoke city and switch off from it as much as I can. I don’t post on here anywhere near as much as I used to, it’s healthier that way, you should try it
