It gives the thick fuckers something to moan about. You do understand that the St George’s flag is an integral part of the Union Jack (British Flag) that in recent years years men and women have fought and died under/for the likes of you……..and other thick fuckers This visual accoutrement on the England football shirt is not disrespectful. Cool your jets man.

I blame those lesbians… first steal our women now steal our flag. @xxx_xxxxx Bad news, lads. Head Lesbians In Charge (HLIC) Jodie Foster, Megan Rapinoe and Kristin Stewart convened an emergency board meeting earlier and took a vote. THE LESBIANS ARE NOT APPEASED BY THE CLOTH FLAG.

Was wondering the same thing More social media scumbags trying to make a story probably He's simply put the collar up (the flag is on the outside of the collar when it's folded down, so hidden if you wear the collar up). I saw a YouTube vid the other day of the England players (men's and womens teams) seeing the kit for the first time. Several said how happy they were that there was a collar, as they had older England kits that always looked better with the collar up (even some of Barton's "lesbian" players said it, he'll be amazed to know), so I'm pretty damn sure Elliott is doing this for fashion purposes rather than any kind of protest. As mentioned, intentionally misrepresented on social media by people simply to whip up a storm, in the same way some are making out it's the Rainbow flag and people being woke to appease the LGBTQ+ community. If that was true (which it clearly isn't, by the way), it's even more of a fuck up, as it's only appeasing bisexuals and ignoring the rest of the entire LGTQ community and definitely no room for the + community going by the colours (although the + community are just newbies to the scene I guess, so dont count presumably). I can just imagine the FA: "Yeah let's get woke but only include bisexuals. That won't cause controversy and hate will it?" Wearing colours that represent the training kit of England's only major tournament winning side, whilst going into a major tournament. Woke bastards the lot of them!

I was actually fairly undecided (and uncaring) about Nike’s motivation for changing the cross but I’ve just heard that in one of their statements they’ve shown their arse by talking about it “disrupting history”.
Anyone who vaguely follows it will recognise that phrase as straight out of the modern social justice activist “academia” playbook.

It gives the thick fuckers something to moan about. Love your national pride. Hope when the wokes take over you'll be happy What's even more predictable than complaints about this flag is the response from those who rush to ridicule the complainers, just to score virtue-signalling points. They completely overlook the main issue that this 'playful update' is only reserved for the England flag, just as their mockery is only reserved for this flag and those who wish to defend it. How would they react if a corporation displayed a rainbow-themed Palestinian or Ukraine flag, and people from those countries then voiced their concerns? Virtue-signallers certainly are flagshaggers, but save the mocking and vitriol for their own. Having no issue with nations, peoples, and cultures around the world, celebrating their patriotism, but condescending towards the exact same equivalent in their own country. A product of the drip-fed social engineering of self-loathing in the West.

I'm fine with the colour scheme for the cross itself.
Once you gum a cross on a blue background rather than a white one it's not a cross of St George anyway.
Having said that I shan't be procuring a shirt so I don't really have a vote.

Nike have played a blinder here.
Normally, no one gives a fuck about a new England kit. Oh look it's another overpriced white kit with a bit of blue on, that looks exactly like the last one- great.
They knew doing this would trigger the gammons though, whip everybody up into a big culture wars frenzy and generate publicity for something that 99% of people would otherwise not even give ten seconds of thought to. It's about the only way they're going to sell shirts at those prices.

Fighting for the "flag" is nothing more than a symbolic phrase, unless of course you genuinely believe they wouldn't have even fought for England or those causes in the first place unless the colours of a bloody flag had been to their personal tastes? As has been pointed out, it's not even our flag originally. Thousands of Englishmen fought and died for us for centuries before any Englishmen had even seen that flag. Changing the colours (which has been done before but no one said anything about) doesn't negate what people have done in the past or wipe it from anyone's memory or stop those wanting to fight for their country in the future. Also......it's a game of footy we're talking about, just for perspective. After all it’s of a game of footie…..OK. Why not change the three lions badge to three kittens or remove all English (national) identity, I mean it’s a game of footy we’re talking about, just for perspective.

It's the football shirt equivalent of Paddy Power paying out on our relegation after 1 match back in the Prem. Any publicity is better than no publicity. Donald Trump has twigged it too.

It’s united the country to fly the flag again, something some were trying to brand as being a racist right wing thing. Even that daft cow Emily thornbury labour has come out during election year funnily enough to back the flag. The same flag she said a few years ago should be banned from being flown out of cars and vans when England were playing as it was offensive. You couldn’t write it. Thank you Nike

It gives the thick fuckers something to moan about. I don’t really care about the flag thing tbh but who are you calling thick fuckers out of interest? If anyone’s been thick it’s Nike and the FA surely? Resorting to insults and shutting down conversation seems to be a go to for some when these kind of topics crop up. It’s why I don’t bother engaging with them.

It also has a Red Cross on it 😁

Thank you Nike Amazing how history changes in people's minds. She posted a picture, without any accompanying text, of a house with England flags on it to Twitter. Once. In 2014. Was there a subtext of snobbery? Yes. Did she call for anything to do with the flag to be banned at any point? No. The level of persecution is insane. There have been England flags everywhere during the last couple of major tournaments.

Okay as some have pointed out it's not exactly the Rainbow flag, but to many (myself included) rightly or wrongly thats the first thing that comes to mind. As we're all Stoke fans on here, how would we feel if they tampered with our badge by putting a rainbow or something close to it on the badge? some dont even like the current one, some saying the blue has nothing to do with Stoke. I'm honestly not bothered what you want to identify as,as long as you're happy. But if you're playing for club or country you're playing for the same badge of the club and same flag as your country so why change it?

The badge on last season's home kit was completely monochrome (and it's been changed to a solid block colour on several away kits). Don't recall anyone shitting the bed over that though. (Probably because it wasn't done to appease those pesky queers).
