Obviously a load of rubbish isn’t it. For what it’s worth the Slavisa Lrague coach dude said it is off with Nuno due to Cox Ernst with agents and third parties, among some other reasons. So knows where we are going next. Setting myself up for disappointment though. Eh? I'll translate it to English for you as i'm not sure what language that was in 😂 There's a guy on Twitter who has been around for while who genuinely DOES have a track record of getting info (he is a Stoke fan who is a coach for Slavia Prague). He has said Nuno is off due to "too many taggers on" and wanting agents and third parties involved..I assume he means Jorge Mendes maybe. He also confirmed that Stoke did meet with Nuno If that is true and he usually posts very solid info then I can understand why Stoke didn't go further with it.

Hassenhutl - but it's almost definitely a big bag of shite. Why, he's out of work isn't he? He is but there was an article not too long back saying he wanted a break from football. Can't see him being enticed back by a Championship relegation battle if a break was on the agenda.

Hasenhuttl rumour probably rubbish but I think he'd be a really good appointment. Tries to play on the front foot, high pressing style and he's got a bit of gravitas. Why is Hassnhutl considered a good choice? Never took Southampton forward, very inconsistent results, had them on the end of not one but two 9-0 hammerings, and by the end totally bolloxed up which ultimately led to their relegation. My own opinion is all it is. Not my first choice but a solid appointment.

Who knows really what is happening behind the scenes, yuu would have thought the delay or non announcement would indicate we are after a manager currently in work?. If it had been a clear choice and they were available, would or should have been announced by now??. If it is to be an available manager, why the delay??.

If NES wants a challenge,he won't get much of a bigger one than Stoke City, one of the richest clubs in Europe, who can't even finish in the top have in a 2nd tier league.

I have to say we are either being very thorough, or simply dragging our heels. If the manager we end up appointing was not in a job and available, there is no reason not to have that person installed asap..If we are simply giving the impression we are taking all due diligence, then taking the cheap and easy option, shame on you Stoke City. In some ways I am reassured by the time it is taking. I think we probably had an idea of available managers who we would be interested in if we sacked Neil ( it is what Brighton do even before they consider losing a manager). You can hardly interview while the current incumbent is still in the job so the length of time this appointment is taking suggests we are interviewing in depth and deciding who is the best fit. You would imagine we would like to know how the new man would use the current squad and coaches as we won't want another huge upheaval and change of direction. At the moment there is no huge rush, WBA was always going to be a difficult game so not disastrous if we lose and I suspect the board have respect for Gallagher's ability in the short term. He may even be under consideration. I always wonder why football clubs don't ask potential managers to take an observed training session with the squad and see how the players react to them. It's the sort of thing which happens in the real world.

Schumacher is good friends with Peter Sweeney as they have known each other since they were fifteen. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_SchumacherOn 1 July 2005 Sweeney signed for Stoke City for a fee of £250,000.

Looks like their forum has got wind of your mate/relation having an interview 🤔 My son’s teacher is a Stoke City supporter and is the brother-in-law to John Eustace. He wants him to get the job obviously and said Mr Eustace has had an interview. Today my son has come home to tell me his teacher tolls him that Schuey ‘has had an interview too’.
