I think more of a reason for the name change was to honour a great player for the Club, and rightly so.

I honestly didn't know that the Delilah's name-change was because of this, until I read it here. What a situation the Club has put itself into. Purely woke. Not that, the whole place has had a (fantastic) revamp as such a name change was well in order. woke my arse just good sense

Yeh there is going to be about 5 street kiosks and if it’s popular that could increase? There is already a mention of a second fan zone outside the south stand, and providing the first one is successful?

Has there been any ideas floated about local music artists being invited to perform before or after match days?

I always thought the fans were responsible for the matchday atmosphere not someone with a record player in the PA booth. What do you mean responsible? Why responsible? Surely all things add to atmosphere not just one thing? Are Liverpool fans responsible for theirs? If we’re responsible we’ve failed then

Maybe the club could get them sing a nice little song for us before kick off while we all hold hands together Who’s the snowflake in this, the person wanting it banned or the person kicking off because it’s banned. I don’t know anymore..🤷😂 Snowflake? Kicking off? That’s the trouble with this board nowadays. Nobody can have an issue, have a debate or anything no more without people accusing you, having a go at you or trying to shut you down.

Playing anything songs over the tannoy before kick off is pretty irrelevant.

I for one couldn’t care less about Delilah no matter what the reason is behind it not being played anymore, it’s just a song that hasn’t aged well. Anyway I though this was about the excellent work the club are doing with the fan zone?

I agree The Pretender and Lose Yourself were much better walk out music but they aren't identity. I just don't feel getting so emotional about Delilah is worth it.

Yes that was mentioned & suggested, which the club want top local music talent & other performers.

Stoke need to implement some kind of percussion board at the back of the home stands, usually we just bang on the back of the frosted boards but with a bit of clever sound engineering then they could come up with a concept that reverberates a bit better 👍

Lose Yourself is an absolutely brilliant walk out song and should be used. Agreed We sponsored the opening game of the season years ago V Sheff Weds , 0-0 draw, we missed a pen, Harper I think and I asked Moxey could we have this before the game. He obligingly did, a couple on here did mention it. Was a lad used to post on here who was actually the match DJ at Newcastle Utd who picked up on it. Stoke fan but worked at Newcastle on match days. Pointed out to him that they were Newcastle fans. Think he was a DJ on Metro Radio

Anyway I though this was about the excellent work the club are doing with the fan zone? It is about fanzone. My first point on here was asking if anyone had use if a drone for updates which I like to watch on YouTube like other clubs do when having work done. I then just mentioned the Delilah song which I personally thought was missed as a pre kick off rally cry song, then Malcolm mentioned about a couple of women I think it was that basically got it scrapped unless I read it wrong, and the discussion went from there. I could say the same about other threads I read all the time on here that go off topic like the transfer thread that ends up with days of puns and no transfer discussion

Lose Yourself is an absolutely brilliant walk out song and should be used. Agreed I can’t remember what ref it was but it was an ex PL one and he said that hearing that in the tunnel at the Brit was one of his best moments in his career. I heard it the other day in the car and it made me get excited for the season. Absolutely brilliant and is imo very much part of the fabric of Stoke City.

I was a big fan of running out to 'Hate To Say I Told You So' by The Hives.
Would have been around the Gifton/Darell Russell/Ed de Goey era.
Top tune 👍
