Must have been a young Derby team with them playing tonight

An hour against some youngsters?
Clearly miles away from full fitness then

An hour against some youngsters? Clearly miles away from full fitness then It don't really matter about the opposition if its about getting soke minutes in. If there is no one else to play against.

Could be a very important part of the squad this season. Should have been done weeks ago. Negligent from the manager not to do so

It will be interesting to see where he fits into AN's plans.
Is he just here as back up? Up is there a genuine thought process that he will become first choice?

You'd think whoever is doing it on the training pitch and matchday. We needed an extra option didn't we at the end of the day as has allready proved. He's got good experience though, Clark

Although fitness is still important I think it's less important for a CB than any other outfield position.
If Rose or McNally get injured he will surely be chucked in at the deep end. His experience mostly at prem level should help him manage his way through his first few games.
I don't think it will be too long before he replaces Rose as a starter if he can stay fit and isn't he a left footer? If so should add some balance.
I feel it was only his wage demands that stopped this deal going through much earlier and we are probably now paying what he initially asked for out of desperation.

He will certainly start as back up but who knows as the season progresses Let’s be honest, there isn’t really much competition is there. I think he’ll be one of the first on team sheet when up and running. Rose is very limited.

Didn't I read yesterday in the story about Mmaee that no one will talk about, and which has resulted in his alleged banishment from the first team, that Wes and Clarke were involved in it too? I remember because I was shocked to read Clarke's name and if correct what a truly awful signing he was.

Unfortunately again it's about avoiding relegation! Is TP the only individual able to make this club go forward!???

As soon as Hughes had got rid of most of TP's spine and solid pros it all went downhill. And since then it has got even worse too!

Another waste of space signing ( see Stephen Ward)), went to Plymouth, he was crap. May as well send him back into retirement where he belongs.

Hughes took it to a better level than TP ever could.
