Brilliant clearance but generally he offers very little either in attack or defence. I’d drop him and play Burger and Thompson (who I don’t rate but at least he plays like he cares).

I never normally go in too hard on players but an absolute fucking disgrace today.

Can somebody tell this absolute fucking fraud that after he has taken the knee at the first whistle he is allowed to get back up.

Very very poor today, and seen him play like that several times. Also seen him dominate games and when he goes we generally win. Seems to me he is quite limited and will never be a top player in this league, but what I find most annoying about him is his attitude. He just gets a strop on and that’s probably what holds him back more than anything. I hope we move him on, I prefer Baker who’s actually a footballer

A huge liability. He made a headed clearance near his goal line but can't think of anything else but negative contributions. I didn't think it's lack of effort, he's just shit

He was partly to blame for their goal because he was moaning about a previous decision instead of getting back behind the ball.

Should not be our captain, nearly cost us at the end of the game by wasting his time arguing with the ref when he gave a free kick away instead of busting as gut to get back in to position. Turns up when he fancies it. Don’t think I have seen him win a header, slow, constant hospital balls.

He was really, really poor today. But that clearance off the line was superb. Apparently the club have already commissioned a statue reproducing the headed clearance. I believe they are moving the Stanley Matthew’s one closer to the incinerator and Laurent’s being put in its place. Absolute Stoke City Legend. His voice bellows like thunder and lightening from the bowels of hell, his power brings down mountains and his delicacy is only rivalled by blind monks sewing the finest of silks in the depths of ancient monestaries. Lord Laurent may I bow to you.

Bloody awful but he did clear the ball off the line towards the end and that could prove crucial. His consistent dog shit performances over the course of the season could prove even more crucial

Our entire midfield - apart from Burger - just can't make basic passes. It's scarily bad at this level.

Only three more dogshit performance left and then we all get a break from the man.

Did 1 thing. The headed clearance.
Which was great defending.
But was hopeless otherwise.

Didn't he have about three weeks off with his suspensions either side of the international break? I wish we'd play him as a deep-lying midfielder, rather than have him running around like a headless chicken, collecting yellow cards.

Maybe his agent has told him off to Ajax and there's no need for him to do his stuff until pre-season for them?

I just struggle to see where we could be coeherent in CM. Could Cundle be an option ahead of Burger / Thompson. He’s quite lightweight but pretty tidy and playing against Plymouth might bring the best out of him.

Didn't someone say Chris Wilder was watching us the other week, and that they were interested in Wouter? He deserves to be playing a better standard that what we're offering in all honesty, even if his recent form isn't great. I don't think we've made the most of his attributes at all.
