Didn't think he got that much wrong tonight. Laurent is the obvious mistake - he's in terrible form and should be dropped.
It was a difficult second half with the continual injuries to defenders, and I think going long was a sensible decision and led to long spells of pressure for us (admittedly not leading to any great opportunities).
Obviously the result wasn't good, but it feels a long way away from some of the dross performances we have produced at home over the last 12 months.

He just doesn’t help himself. Bae and Burger should be starting. Bae was bloody brilliant. I was on board with letting Bae bed-in slowly, but have to say tonight he convinced me that he should be in from the off. I thought his touches were excellent tonight and he could be the number 10 we need in behind the striker.

Player effort and performance alongside the referees will ultimately give Neil a reprieve tonight. The win at the weekend still fresh in the minds will have helped, too. The fact we’ve lost tonight and we aren’t baying for blood in unison shows that we’ve seen…something…tonight. Let’s see if it continues into the weekend. If I'm honest mate, I think the disgusting display from the ref has massively diverted the anger away from AN... let off the hook tonight because it was far from good and his in game decisions are terrible

The fact that wasn't a particularly bad performance speaks absolutely volumes for how shit we are.
It took 95 minutes to have a shot on target against the worst defence in the league.
We've ended the game with 0 of the back 4 playing in their natural position. He's banged on for 12 months about how he's only going to sign players that will be available for the majority of the season, the injuries are worse now than ever.
He's tried Michael O'Neils formation and failed so tonight he tried Nathan Jones'.
He's sacked every fucker in the process. The entire sports science department should resign tonight and the manager isn't far behind.
A clusterfuck.

I think if he sets the midfield up better, gets them closer together and drops Laurent we'll be in business. Unlucky tonight with the ref. But we really need to stop losing Anyone enlighten me where he gets a diamond from? Lack of width and it really put one particular FB under pressure. 4-3-3 putting balls into the box with a big striker and an 8 hitting the box late. Neil's ego never fails to amaze. Stop complicating football! The more I think about it, cooling down, I thought how he set up the middle was so naive tonight. Johnson and Laurent were pushing up, neither is good at pressing, leaving huge gaps between them and Pearson. Laurent ambling back struggling to pick up his man cost us the goal. Tactically he's just not up to it

Bae and Burger will be big players for us but we can’t just give them 90 mins. Stop wetting your knickers.

Guy has to go.
Barely an effort on goal again. At Home!
He's been schooled by managers with barely a season under their belts compared to him.
Virtual every home game.
Can we play rovrum and WBA every week?

He can now go for me, I have been a big supporter in keeping him, he promised us fast dynamic attacking football…we are the opposite, we are slow and ponderous and don’t really look like scoring while we look weak at the back, we are worse than last season. We lose at Leicester( a given ) and he should go in the international break.
And we go again…ffs how many times

Are we 10 games in and we've had a back 5, back 4, 4-3-3 and tonight a diamond. Every team we've played at home, except Rotherham, look more comfortable on the ball and we constantly look like we're a league below and struggling to keep up with people. I could understand the it takes time argument if we were trying to do something consistently. Starting something new every week won't click over night, it won't ever click. But maybe that's not the managers fault either.

They’re clearly playing for him still, cannot fault the effort tonight.
I quite liked the diamond but he should have changed it last 20 minutes and gone 4-2-3-Wes.

Bit harsh this tonight. We're missing our first choice front three, are nursing our 4M midfielder back and are now down to 1 fit centre half.
The latter one is on the club for sure, as we've left ourselves short, but the injuries again are ridiculous and killing us.
Thought we put in a very good shift against a decent side.

Whilst we look ok in possession, and battled hard, the lack of quality, particularly in the final ball, was disturbing. Laurent in particular was appalling. Junho has to start. Junior too- such a mature performance for a 19 year old full debutant.
Also far too much lumping it. Looked much better (shock!) when we played.
