I remember similar feelings when Nathan Jones got that late win at Swansea. Hopefyully this wont be the false dawn that that was

If he can get the team to stop giving teams goals we should fly up the league. If he doesnt we could be going through the trapdoor.

Let's just enjoy tonight, it's been a long long time coming. Fair play to AN, I've been as critical as anybody, but today we saw a team willing to fight for him, fight for each other and not let the heads drop despite a shambolic opening quarter of an hour! We have got to use this as a springboard to push on - to come from 2-0 down away from home against a decent team like the Wurzels to win it is one hell of a result. Made the right subs at the right time - Tchamadeu looked ace again, Bae came in and made the difference with his runs into pockets and Nathan Lowe of course was in the right place at the right time, so Neil deserves all the credit for showing the balls to bring him on instead of Gayle! Have a sneaking suspicion that baldy might just be here a few more games now too... 😉

That was for the players today. They showed the character we didn’t think existed.

Let’s get behind him. I don’t like him but nothing makes me happier than Stoke City winning.

One swallow does not a spring make, but that second half performance has definitely loosened the noose somewhat. We need a performance, at home, and on the tele, in Tuesday.

Pleased for him. He was badly let down by the players errors for the first 2 goals and seemed at his wits end and in despair.
He had confidence in chancing the young players and they rewarded him.
One swallow doesn't make a summer, but I feel a lot better just now.

Well done Alex today, now do it again on Tuesday or else the shit will stick again. That is the minimum expected from a Stoke team.

Fucking hell, watch your step guys and gals. I've just tripped over 13 months worth of dross that has been swept under the carpet after one admittedly impressive win.

One swallow does not a spring make, but that second half performance has definitely loosened the noose somewhat. We need a performance, at home, and on the tele, in Tuesday. Southampton gsve s very very decent group of players so we should be very realistic about Tuesday they just battered Leeds and if they don’t do dtuoud things at the back are a formidable team going forwards

Pleased with a very, very much needed win. He has got some way to go to get his points per game tally up and I most sincerely hope he does, but half an eye must be kept on the bigger picture as it’s a results game after all.
