We had so many players behind the ball when we had it we could n't go anywhere quickly , yet when they had it we had gaps all over and could n't defend for shit. Awful tactics and formation.

We’re getting worse not better, thats then issue.
Yes needs to gel new players, but they should be getting better and togetherness each game.
Main issue is we don’t look motivated to keep the ball out the net, far too easy every game.

On the way back I heard Neil on radio stoke."Overall our perfomances have been good." on todays game"nothing much between us in the game." Did he watch that game or has been driven insane by the pressure of the job. Like so many befor him.....

Under O'Neill we had someone who had a favoured formation, but without a clue of what players would suit it....
Under Neil, we've brought in players, but without a clue of knowing what formation he actually favours???
We need someone with a blend of both.... Surely it's not that hard to find someone who could actually get it right???
That said, it does seem to be a bridge to far for Stoke though!!!
Neil needs to pick a formation, and stick with it, not keep swapping and changing week after week.... Surely it can't help the players by not playing a settled formation???
