He’s completely lost the plot this season. After every game he’s talking about how we changed things because of the way the opposition play. At Huddersfield he even changed our set up during the warm up because they lined up differently than he was expecting.

I’ve just seen that after the game today he said that he set us up like that today because Coventry set up like that against Hull.

We’ve recruited for 4-3-3, so fucking play it and let the opposition worry about what we’re going to do.

He's got very little way of currency in the bank when he's bollocked on all last season and the summer about us not having any wingers or game changers, only to sign a bus load of them and revert to 532.

Sadly he has the look of a man who has completely run out of idea's only having just been given a full squad of footballers full of them.  It's a very precarious position we're in now.  Let it rot much further and we're heading to League One no doubt regardless of who comes in.  Equally, bring the wrong man in to replace him and we are heading in exactly the same direction circa 97/98.

It shouldn't be this hard, it really shouldn't.

The seeming lack of urgency to sign defenders was when my alarm bells started to ring, just a shame I'm being proved right.

Said all along he will give the Board a decision to make with his own  gross  incompetence  by the end of  oct and results will make it for them .

id actually not be surprised  now if JC pulls the trigger earlier than that now , the great difficulty of course is Jared the tinder swindler and captain smith-Martin do they go as well as they surely Should . The players told everyone today what they thought of him.  That interview was dreadful and every bit a "I can't manage this group of players, they aren't doing what I tell them to do" as you are likely to find anywhere.

The players have changed. The performances, tactics and results haven't.

We tried to press but their fullbacks were free every time so Hull played around us, that was a tactical issue and he did nothing to change it.

That really was a shambolic performance. Tactically Neil is way out of his depth and to have no solid centre halves and no real goalscorers in the team is a fking disgrace

Another game down and I don’t know what we are trying to be as a team. The back 3 centre halves have zero pace, you need some pace in that’s system because of the space both inside and outside of you as a player. That showed both for wilmot and mcnally, (he is awful). The manager seems to have got Gooch in to play in this wide right back role, so where does he go if Hoever is starting? I’m really struggling with his selections and his formation and today was a shambles looked devoid of ideas. I’m getting a bit sick of hearing the same quotes from the manager at the moment.

This is the weird thing. Last season he kept complaining that the squad had been built for 3-5-2. Then he goes out and signs 17 players, gets rid of the only wingback in the squad … and decides to settle on 3-5-2 after all.

He’s acting like a manager who has inherited someone else’s squad and needs a window to bring in his own players to fit his own system.
