Not unusual for players to go on breaks on international week to be fair, Coates didn't create the idea. A shame Neil found his way back though ...we could have got a couple of camels for him... At a push I get that, but take the two examples on this thread of how a club is running/acting during the IB . One worked on tactics and shape throughout the entire break and another allowed their players and manager to go off sunning themselves. One won 3-0 away, the other lost 3-0 at home. Like I said, it’s a shit show when looking in. Very true but maybe they thought we'd be better prepared with Neil out of the way 😉

As long as we're not in trouble of relegation and in the touching dodtance of the play-offs sacking is a ridiculous suggestion, imagine if you fired a manager looking up the table and hire a man that takes you down one, look at Brum. If it was down to many on here stoke would have a new manager every few weeks Two weeks with the squad and he produces one of the worst performances since his time here. If that's not a red flag then fair enough. His record at Stoke City is atrocious. Everybody has an off day, I think a fair reflection is the end of the season. We wernt very good but we've played pretty decent in the last 5 game unbeaten run, we need a striker to turn draws into wins and a keeper. It's not my job to reassure you, if you're not happy that's your perogative. I think we're a couple of players away from a good side myself

I dont have a problem with him I prefer to see the bigger picture. See what the January window brings. I think stoke fans are knee jerk specialists. Considering we've brought in 18 new players this season and spent a quarter of the season gell8ng, bedding in, acclimatising, getting to know each other, I don't think we're in a bad position in the table. We'll lose games and play poorly, like every other club/team in the league does. We'll also win when we're not expected too like every other club/team in the league does, that's the champo for you. Interested to see what we can do in January

He's tossed it off in Dubai for a week when he could be working on things like 'gelling' and tactics with the lads who are still in the building. What we got is a reflection of that 'preparation' - a team that hadn't a clue what they were doing and at times demotivated. He's an arrogant individual who is not a fraction of the manager he thinks he is.

I didn't mean you personally I meant the posters of the board that can't wait to froth at the mouth if we lose a game. No point me saying anything we only go around in circles, on to the next game. Stoke fans would have a new manager every few weeks, after a loss it's unbearable on here, best to stay away

What you need is a game where you can't lose, like a jig-saw or Solitare, haha

What I can't handle is a manger who thinks he's bigger than the club, tosses it off when he should be working and has an atrocious record in the 12 months he has been here. The players he has signed are proving to be pretty shite. No surprises.

He has done nothing to suggest he will be a success here. At ANY other club he'd have been sacked. Talks a good game but is unable to back it up with any modicum of success or ability. It probably cost millions to get him here and he's been everything I thought he would be. Another expensive mistake by the owners.

Back in the real world.... At least be organised and motivated. There are 2 or 3 teams in this division that are head and shoulders above the rest, the rest is a pretty even contest, every champo club outside of those top 3 will stutter through the season. It is what it is isn't it, we're an average champo club and unless we decide to bite the bullet and spend some money we'll get average club results

Register new on here and take a username of a player who’s kicked the ball about a dozen times for the club. Wind up parody account all day long. Sad git.

We've scored 16 in 17, and 7 of them came in two games. That leaves us with a paltry 9 goals in the other 15 games. If Cardiff's football is absolutely dire I'm wondering if the adjective to describe our football has even been invented yet?

He went to Dubai; seriously?
I didn't think it was possible to feel more angry about Satdee's shit show, but that has pushed me over the edge.
We need a manager who is totally committed to the club. We need a manager who is as bothered about results as the fans.
Alex Neil is neither.
