I've thought about giving Leris a try up top, let's face it he's shit everywhere else. I am really unsure about Leris. He has scored a couple of decent goals and athletically (speed, power, work rate, etc.) he is great. However, technically and on the ball he is really erratic. I am not sure that he is a winger. For me he looks more a wing back than anyone to play along the front line.

Losses down to manager, wins down to players? Sorted cheers Ultimately I support a team not a manager. When I said that vidigal7 told me that was bollocks. Thankfully the happy-clapping sealion has sunk without trace again.

15 home defeats now for Alex Neil in 29 games - over 50%. 13 of those we haven't scored in.
Just don't think he's learning from mistakes, as so many games seem to follow the same pattern.

Said before managers don’t recover form these type fo stats to goon to succeed he did the unusual in getting some respite but i cannot think of any manager at any levle that has gone on to succeed after such a diabolical 14 months and that should be enough forth owners. I also think its quite telling that the bookmakers in the sack race dont see him as as safe as many on here think.

The coaching staff are getting off lightly in all this. His assistant manager (who I’d have to google research to remember his name) must be the drabbest, lowest profile, and frankly incompetent “coach” we’ve ever had, and I can remember Sammy Chung.
Paul Gallagher has come over in the summer with something of a fanfare and a growing reputation. What has he done? Other than make the players laugh playing the ukulele in pre-season?
Edit. Our assistant manager is Martin Canning apparently 🤷♂️

I honestly think Rowett was better, at least actually on the pitch.
That’s how bad he is.

I do not think that he has the technical ability or end product to play as an out-and-out winger. I cannot fault his effort or work rate, but we need some creativity in those wide areas.

If I read about AN having two promotions on his CV again I think I’m going to cry.
Norwich - he took over in January and using someone else’s squad got promoted and then relegated the following season and he was sacked the season after that.
Sunderland - appointed in February with the team in the playoffs, using someone else’s squad they stayed in the playoffs and were promoted. Sunderland have since been glad to see the back of him.
He’s a fraud.

The man is an absolute coward as well as an appalling manager.
When we win or get a 'positive' result, he comes out and claps all of the fans and such. When we lose he's straight down the tunnel with his head down.
I cannot stand that total chancer, I'm trying to keep my language under control, but I dislike him greatly.

He does talk a good game, but bar a few blips here and there, by and large the results simply aren't good enough. On paper we have 3 of the easier games ahead, I would dread to think what the atmosphere would be like if we failed to beat Sheff Wed a week on Saturday 🤔

Still in touch with the play offs, Reading this board you'd think we were growing roots in the bottom 3. We're a whole lot better than seasons gone by
