The blokes up there as one of the worst managers we’ve ever had, it’s that bad I’d have O’Neil back tomorrow.
Never before have I witnessed such sad and pathetic football as I’ve sat through today, pointless f’ing pointless crap, utter con artist, can’t stand the bloke.
Talks utter bollox and easily should have lost 6-0, Blackburn weren’t particularly a good side but on what planet merits that starting line up, Gayle WTF 🤬
I want the bloke gone as soon as

He keeps picking dreadful line-ups. Hoever has been awful for weeks- he can't defend. Yet he seems to be first name on the team sheet. Leris offers nothing apart from winning a few headers from goal kicks. Yet he also seems undroppable. Gayle is about as good at football now as I am. Yet he's started the last God knows how many games despite being even worse than he was last year. This is before we even start on the fact that he's left us with a situation where Bonham is our goalkeeper until January at least, while our only left back is an injury-prone 33-year-old. Oh, and somebody tell him that Bae Junho is a number 10, not a left winger. Fucking charlatan. Problem with todays team was, still, 5 or 6 are no where near good enough. Blackburn are everything we aren't. We were heavily linked with Moran all summer. He wouldn't have a fucking scooby what to do with a player like him.

What makes it even worse for Neil is that he's not a very likeable bloke. In fact since we came down only Michael O'Neill has been.

Well, that was a completely lacklustre performance.
We started sloppy, found ourselves a goal down (although it could have been 2-3 in the first 20 minutes), and then had no idea as to how to break Blackburn down.
The last couple of goals that we conceded were absolutely awful as well.
My biggest concern here is that I have no idea where our goals are supposed to come from. Apart from Mmaee, I cannot honestly see anyone getting anywhere near double figures.

That's 3 games and no goals and in all honesty we haven't really looked like scoring. Season upon season, we have no idea how to break teams down who play on the counter. We are simply so easy to play against. I am a little concerned at where we are heading.

Oh, and somebody tell him that Bae Junho is a number 10, not a left winger. Fucking charlatan. He’s not going to change, he seems to have an overwhelming self belief in his methods, even as they fall apart in front of him week after week. That was an utterly soulless display of all his own making and yet after a totally predictable first half in light of the team he picked he continued with the same tactics. The same players fail every week and he keeps picking them regardless. It’s lunacy, Johnson, Leris and Hoever shouldn’t be anyway near the team at the moment and Gayle shouldn’t be in the squad. Junior, JunHo, Campbell, Vidigal, Wesley and Mmaae should be at the front of the queue for places and yes JunHo is a number 10. Backed to the hilt and still deficient at left back, goalie, centre back, and midfield and reluctant to play any flair. It’s criminal but he still has enough to put out a decent team in this league if he had some nous.

We won 3 in a row in spite of him, not because of him. Who was our manager? Neil picks the team and sets them up, which is why we are where we are. Individual performances/moments won us the games.

The problem is we’ll win the odd one here and there beat a form team and he’ll keep saying things are going in the right direction
Think we are stuck with him but we need to move him on now

I mean it took years for Fergie get his Shit together. ....now to catch up with proceedings, and maybe come back to make a more reasoned contribution

7 halves of football in a row where we've never really looked like scoring.
Not surprising when you take a look at the profiles, and goal records, of the players we've got in the attacking areas.
If he sees Leris as undroppable as some kind of hard-working counterbalance for Hoever, Mmaee is going to have to really go into turbo drive as he gets fitter, and whichever one of Campbell/Vidigal/Haksabanovic/Bae gets the minutes are going to have to catch fire.
But there's only really Campbell with any consistent history of goals - and he at least provided the few moments of positivity in the game
There's nothing anywhere else. Burger, Leris and Johnson are a goal-free zone.
We're absolutely lost when teams sit back. I thought Blackburn might have come on to us a bit, but after the early goal, we were screwed as we normally are when we don't play a 'big' team or nick an early goal.
Maybe we should have just let Wes out of his box 20 minutes earlier, as depressing as that is.

The only thing stopping me from really calling for his head is that the Coates family will lumber us with an even bigger condescending wanker in Chris Wilder.

He’s assembled a steaming pile of shite of a squad and is afraid of his own shadow.
No gravitas, no leadership, no tactics. We’re an empty vessel.

What does he try to coach them in training. This slow backwards sideways crap has got to stop. You can piss about like that when winning three nil. It has been the same for a long time now and he cannot or will not change. Methinks time for someone else.

Today was his 30th home league game in charge of us and we’ve lost 16 of them and failed to score in 14 of them.
Is it any wonder there’s more at atmosphere at a morgue than our home games.

Asked a question on another post. Is there a manager in the last 30 years who has lost as many or more home games than AN?
