Just go to church tomorrow and confess your sins, I reckon you'll get a pardon I’ll do that when your nose isn’t so brown up Neil’s rear end Sack him quick, he's shite. Doesn't know what he's doing. Tactically inept. Loads on here are going to look stupid at the end of the season 🤣

The Jun ho and Junior absences are really weird, both have done nothing wrong, yet they appear to be slowly fazed out.. Three wins on the bounce. Three decent performances. Players like Thompson and Rose have stepped up a gear. And still folk pontificate and ask why's and wherefores .. Amazing.

Glad we’re winning, it’s a likeable squad. I just…don’t like Neil. At my most critical I could say the team are winning in spite of him not because of him, but who knows. He could take us up and I don’t think I could warm to him, just seems sour. Still, I support Stoke so the 9 points are excellent. Could we have another manager that no one likes but takes us up? Hold your horses. I liked Pulis and I've met the odd other secret Pulis liker as well 😉

I think it speaks more of the options we've got, it's a good thing if we're winning games and you've got people asking why certain players arn't in, fan of Tchamadeu's and Junho's input myself but 9 points from 3 games I don't think they'll be too upset if the others are performing. It's a long season isn't it they're all going to get games Great problem to have,

Gone after Mboro has been my view since august and I’ll stick to it Another hilarious prediction 😀😀😀 That’s fair enough it’s been a remarkable turnaround this week and he deserves great credit for it as I can’t recall a manager anywhere recovering from his position of such a torrid record

I’ve criticised Neil plenty but more than happy to eat some humble pie. We’ve just beaten 3 of the best sides in the division for my money, certainly 3 potential top 6 sides. Today was easily our best performance of the season carrying on from our second best. Tough game up next but confidence must be high He deserves praise for turning it around from the brink but let's see if its not a flash in the pan before we get carried away. We had a similar run last season and it all went to shit soon after.

Best of it is we have good options on numerous positions. It's going to be a good season if we avoid major injuries. This is the type of football he desires to play but you need the personel to do it, we've got that now. We've also got another window yet to bolster for the run in

But let’s give some credit after beating 3 sides we weren’t expected to beat. It’s given us and him a lot of breathing space for the next set of games. I think 5 or 6 points from the next three will see us right in the mix and why not

I did just know though last season how he likes to play football and what we were seeing wasn't it, the window was crucial, getting it wrong and we've f'ckd it, but get it right and we could look like that Norwich team did he did so well with. The window for me looked a good one and with the new recruitment team and our new ability to scour other markets looking for players that fit this managers needs and with a blank canvas filled me full of optimism, I was sure it was just a matter of time. I think the club deserve a lot of credit for what they've done this summer, from top to bottom. 18 new players and right now it's spot the bad signing which is pretty unheard of

This thread is hilarious. If I'm reading the room well, those of us that did not keep our powder dry through 12 months of swamp football should now somehow kneel at the altar of those who did. Based on what? One week of admittedly fantastic performances?
Why?
I mean, don't get me wrong, the last two games in particular have been fantastic. But where the fuck has this level of performance been for a year? Gel, gel, gel. We need to gel they have decried. But honestly, it shouldn't take 3 months to get eleven blokes to press as a team like we have this last week. We've got some decent players. It's not unreasonable to question why they haven't been more effective prior to the phoenix style rebirth week since Sunderland.
Anyone who suggests that support for this manager, before this week, was based on anything other than blind hope or admirable optimism is talking crap. There were so few positives to take from so many of our early season wallopings it's untrue. Ipswich, in particular we were woefully unprepared for. Millwall, Preston and Hull were a shambles too.
If criticism of the manager one week leads to calls for humble pie devouring the next, we might as well just close this thread down.

He inherited an unbalanced squad and after Christmas the club took a decision to limit spending and save resources for this season. Our attacking options were very thin in the second half of last season in particular. Our signings in the summer appear to have been successful overall but then we suffered a run of injuries and only now are we seeing a Neil team. The last three games have seen us playing aggressive football more than any stretch since relegation other than the purple patch in the spring, Christmas is the time to judge him. Can this team now kick on? If we are in the mid 30s on points we are in the race

Take a bow AN.
Took a risk, freshened the team up after a 3 game week and came out of it with 3 wins, two clean sheets and some very good performances.
Go on Stoke!!!

The Jun ho and Junior absences are really weird, both have done nothing wrong, yet they appear to be slowly fazed out.. They got a chance when we had lots of injuries and did well, but we were not winning matches. Neil's job is on the line if he keeps losing. There is an international break and senior players return to fitness and become available. What would you do with your job on the line, keep faith in young 19 and 20 year olds or trust the more senior players to turn the results around? The results have proved Neil to have made the right decision. Jun ho and Junior will get their chances in time to come.
