Do we have to go through this I told you so bollocks at the end of every game? You shouldn't have to apologise for having a fluid opinion of a manager who before this week had an absolute dog shit record.

Ok so it’s the end of October. Many wanted AN sacked a few weeks ago. What are we thinking now. For me the end of October seemed a reasonable time to judge. Verdict: ok. Things seem to be slowly turning. Happy for AN to stay in place. Anyone still want him out? 3 wins on the bounce buys him till the new year at least even if your his harshest critic , long may it continue

The saddest part is that after a win, their first thought is to hop onto here and have a dig at fellow supporters rather than enjoying the win. Sad, juvenile and just plain thick unfortunately.

The biggest positive is that the players seem to be playing for him.
Commited performances and tactically we seem to be far more competent.

What an amazing leader AN is. The way in which he is transforming our club is incredible. We are going from strength to strength.

Things seem to be slowly turning. Happy for AN to stay in place. Anyone still want him out? A weeks a long time in football hey. For me it wasn’t really even a case of ‘wanting’ him to be fired, it was just a surprise to see him survive what was a Jones-esque start to the season. Unless something goes spectacularly wrong between now and January 1st it’s hard to see him not be in charge until we reach that point. I have to say, after watching 2 of our last 3 managers blow up at the first sign of pressure it’s nice to see someone just keep calm and carry on!

No the saddest part is that we will probably go through the same scenario again next week. No recognition by some that that the manager knows his own players better than them and can make informed decisions.

Delighted it seems to be turning round but let’s not get carried away. His record with us prior to this week was shockingly bad. That hasn’t gone away. We need to keep winning games. One weak capitulation against a poor side will be all it takes for questions to be asked.
I don’t want to be negative. This week has been magnificent. But in itself it doesn’t wipe out over a year of utter dogshite.

For me on New Years Day if the league position is: 10th or above - keep him. 11th to 21st - have a replacement on speed dial, see how the window goes, if it's fixed, keep him. If not see below. 22nd to 24th sack him and hope there is someone who can come in (like MON) to save the ship. But make it clear go down and you are gone (Lambert) My mind hasn't changed since I posted that on 2nd Sept. Think I'm back here again now.

2 - 0 to the 😂😂😂👏👏👏👏 . There will be some disappointed people on here tonight UTMP ❤️ Why will we be disappointed? We've won, I want Neil to be a success. The criticism he's received has been totally justified in my opinion. Exactly. People were only pissed off by his record before this. We all want it to work out

I want to see more of the latter and less how we were playing early doors.

Undeniable he has managed the last 3 games fantastically, results are what counts but I think the way we have won has been so satisfying, there’s grit, fight and some flashes of brilliance. Time to kick on and keep rising hopefully. Well done Alex Neil, and the squad.

Agree it’s nice to see someone not crumble under what was significant and growing pressure. That will undoubtedly rub off on the players too.

Looks like the injury list was as important a factor as it always should’ve been.
The quality of opposition in the last three games and the way we’ve handled them has been really encouraging. I think we’re 3 players away from being a very decent team.

If you’re gonna give it when the chips are down, you need to take it when we’re on the up. Point is, back the manager and look at the extenuating circumstances of that bad run.

Keep it going from here. You can't win every week, neither can you have the awful record of late for that period of time. Need to get into that top 10 now and stay there. Been 3 great wins though

Just shows reading this board over the years that there are some infantile people who post on here. Calling a bloke who they don’t know a Cunt, Wanker, Prick etc just because they don’t like how he is managing the team just shows the level of intelligence those individuals possess. That and a lack of self control and emotional intelligence.
The back and forth on here tonight will on some part be borne out of frustration that they can’t properly express their emotions.
In other news, great win and top work Alex Neil 😂 UTP!

our starting XI was questionable, our tactics were the same as always, and our subs 15 minutes late
but the work rate was there so maybe it’s just a matter of effort
