Not great today. Wasted that 2v1... 6/10.
Certainly not champions league worthy.

He's immense and folk saying otherwise, or folk chomping at the bit to have a go, are a bit odd really.
All season it has been him and Burger as the consistent rays of light.

A lot of what he did today worked really well.
Whilst he wasn’t in the game all that much, and missed a good chance. He created the space that gave Gooch the freedom while helping to pack the midfield and give us control of the game.

My point was that despite Bojan being super gifted and capable of being in the realms of Pele, Marradonna, Cruyff, C Ronaldo, Messi, et al, he did not succeed in fulfilling his potential. I make no comparison to Bae, because time will tell. And you think Bae will reach those heights??????? Is it really a failure not to reach them???? Fucking hell 😂 Good Grief! It's not a comparison!!!!! Bojan failed to reach his potential. Bae currently plays for us and is a youngster that time will tell if he does good or not. The two or completely unrelated.

Thought he was all over it again today just lacked some finishing which will come with time. Seems to be getting more physical by the week too. Will go onto big things no doubt. Reckon he's the type of guy that turns up and trains like a demon.
As with Gooch - they all seem like they've finally got some fitness in their legs.

He had a man following him all the time and drifting into the middle dragged them with him and disrupted their shape which gave Gooch the opportunity to get at them (which he took really well).

Love this guy, he has so much potential, been a little off his level last couple of games, but his off the ball work and tracking back has improved massively. I think he needs a few days rest, he has looked jaded last two game, but it’s nothing, he has the brain skill and quick feet and he is picking up the other side of the game at a ridiculous rate. Lad is getting ready to be a star.

Gooch is far better as a wingback as well (not having to defend as much). Together, they did really well for each other. Another very decent performance by Bae. I think he’ll do great next season.

Bojan failed to reach his potential Just a nitpick - Bojan failed to live up to the potential others thought he'd reach. We don't know if he reached his potential, maybe he did?

Not just any others though. Coaches, national team managers, colleagues. They should know. Most of them all refer to his inability to handle the stresses of being a star. So, to nitpick, if he couldn't handle stress he'd never have gone on to surpass Messi & co. You're right - He had fulfilled his potential which was to be a 29 year old footballer struggling to hold down a place in a Stoke City team that was in serious decline.

He really needs to improve his shooting.
Don't want to sound like a knob but he was poor today. End product is all that counts

Not at his best today but he's a quality footballer and will boss this division next season, if we stay up 👌

Is it really fair to say his height of potential was for us? Some players peak early (Rooney peaked at 17 IMO...), some late. I'd say his best days was already behind him when he left Barca, as the mental issues had begun to really set in.

He really needs to improve his shooting. Don't want to sound like a knob but he was poor today. End product is all that counts He ties up an opposition player because of his skill. He gives us an outlet when clearing. He lets us keep the ball while we wait for the (slow) midfield to catch up with him. All that counts for something. It's a pretty one dimensional view of football to say goals and assists are all that matters. It's a team game.

I think he's a player who needs options in front of him rather than being one of the front 2 or 3. However saying that, I much prefer him on the pitch out of position in a system set up to drag us over the survival line, than to be sat on the bench.
Like some have said, next season will hopefully see players like him, Burger and Million in a positive system and surrounded by players that let them flourish.

If they don’t get out of the group he could be back by 30th July. You’re right he won’t have had a pre season with us but he’ll be far fitter than most of our players and he’ll have nearly a fortnight to get back in the swing of things at Clayton Wood before the season starts.

Good lad!...call up totally deserved, just hope it secures his military exemption, better he is shooting on the pitch for us than on the N/S Korean border.

But he'd be good as a 10, I'm sure of it.

He really needs to improve his shooting. Don't want to sound like a knob but he was poor today. End product is all that counts And therein lies the problem with our support. We won a game 2-1 in which he played as a creat/wide forward and someone says he was poor because he didn't score. I sometimes wonder whether some fans understand the game of football and watch how teams try to move each other about and create space for others. I think some think it's just like playing on the playground where the kid who stands on the goal line takes the credit for scoring the goals and nobody wants to play defence. Junho is a wonderful player to watch even without the goals.
