Perry Ng who cost peanuts when we were crying out for a decent right back. He played very well yesterday I thought. Coasted through the game. He wasn’t up against much though. Our one tactic was the long ball to Leris and we just allowed number 5 to be MOM. |

They have got two of the best full backs in the league statistically. One of the hardest teams to break down statistically. Like the other poster said, it was a good point against a team that’s right up there. We haven't got elite champions league players, we’ve got good championship players that won’t control every single ball of the season with a sublime touch and drift past his marker! They cost tens of millions these days. Anyway, I’m surprised you saw anything because last week when we we celebrating a brilliant victory at Boro, you were paying into vale park you absolute head case. Fuck off. He was really poor yesterday, as were the whole of the front line. He’s been very good recently though. Player of the month in October for me. Yeah it was definitely a game where the MoM was going to be a defensive type. Not a game that will live long in the memory. |

The standard of play can be pretty low but it’s competitive nature is fascinating. Not sure how I feel about the league above. The standard of play can be pretty low but it’s competitive nature is fascinating. Not sure how I feel about the league above. Sheffield United weren’t overly impressive last season for me, and actually started the season with a team poorer than the one they got promoted with due to selling their two best players. Burnley played an open game in the championship and did well due to their players being better technically than the opposition, that was never going to work in the PL. Luton don’t stand a chance but might bloody one or two noses at home. The likes of Bournemouth, Everton and Forest are lucky that the promoted sides are so poor. |
