I’m sure he said there was one when the deal was done?

I'm flying out to Vienna 2 weeks today and have got tickets that night for their Europa game v Shamrock Rovers. I was hoping Mmaee would have been fit to play but maybe not with this injury! Never thought he was the answer personally as his attitude seemed wrong and he spent his time looking disinterested but it would have been interesting to see how he was faring in a league that is (probably) collectively no better than the championship.

Overall that league will be a lower standard however one of two clubs will be of a higher standard

Genuinely believe he'd be a good foil for Cannon as the second striker, especially with Gallagher out injured.
Loaning him out and keeping Ennis was a daft decision.

A fitting picture. There’s a man who has essentially flicked the v’s at Stoke and Rapid Vienna since summer 2023…

He’s been injured for that entire period of time… …although thinking about it, he’d probably somehow have managed to be more effective than Ennis.

States muscular problems, whatever that means. Overall it probably means we'll see him in ST4 come January. Another awful signing. I wonder if our new coach might fancy getting the best out of him? It was lazy arsed management. I’d have Mmaee back in a heartbeat.

Wait, I thought that traditional Oatcake wisdom holds that when a player is somewhere else, he's the greatest thing since sliced bread and definitely the needed missing piece. But he's only "shite" once he comes back here.

Not sure it was lazy management, Schumacher seemingly didn’t want Mmaee around so it was better he went out on loan. I’d also have Mmaee back though, I think he could still prove himself here given the chance, and he is a much better option than Ennis.

It’s an even dafter decision now we know that Schumacher was never going to be in place for any length of time post the transfer window! Madness.

Of all the crazy ass things this club has done in the last six years, loaning Mmaee is not even in the top 20😉

Hopefully they will rekindle their interest in him in Jan Mmaee and McLean, what a duo. Ennis not Mmaee. He was meant to be going to Barnsley but we decided we could not afford to let another striker out after Gallagher picked up the injury in the friendly with AZ.

Much prefer strikers who move, not quite to the level of Ennis with no end product, but we’ve done well to get rid of the strollers from the team in the summer…..why get dragged back into that?
