You had a chance to show some morality but you didn't. Shameful. You should be very proud. M No word on calling people idiots, thick, melts and pricks then? Shameful. You should be very proud. Your overinflated level of self importance is quite frankly hilarious. Not only do you think that you get to decide who is and isn't a fan, you also seem to think that you get to insult other fans then go around demanding apologies when you get an insult or two thrown your way. This is where I bow out because it's not worth continuing. If you want to continue embarrassing yourself even more than you already have done then go for it. Don't forget to put 'S' at the bottom of your post, to show you mean business

Interesting punt , this When Middlesbrough signed Chuba Akpom from PAOK Salonika, for a similar fee , people were underwhelmed...who are PAOK Salonika? His goals have been scored in the Greek league! Actually, once the lad was up and running, turned out to be a key signing for Boro . Could be anything this guy! But if he comes good, he will be worth a lot more than 1.75 million ( plus add ons ) I mean he only scored 7 there, and would’ve assumed his ex Arsenal reputation would’ve carried more weight? Hell even at Boro he only bagged 5 in his first season and then got loaned back to PAOK it looks like. Last season was his first year where it all clicked.

Anyone else had a bet on Ryan Mmaee to be top scorer in the Championship this season or is it just me! 33/1 I got him at! Surely he's got to get more than my Gayle bet from last year!

Surely he's got to get more than my Gayle bet from last year! hes 40/1 with Bet365, Gayle and Wesley similar priced at 66/1 with Campbell the best value (i think) also at 66's (brown 80/1) Interesting Leicester have 3 players all under 10/1 (Vardy, Daka and Iheanacho) Rutter looks value at 33/1 as does Che Adams at 12/1 Delap 100/1..............

Strange how we've not had Mmaee welcome video yet. The BBC missed him off though. They reported on Wesley, and because Mmaee signed at around the same time, he fell off the radar. If he starts banging them in, other folk will be wondering where fell to Earth from.

Reasonable but didn't really hold the ball up all that well, hopefully just a bit rusty

He was ok I thought but looked a little rusty. There were snippets though that we have a player on our hands.

Probably the only player I thought today that didn’t have a great game. Did just ok for me and looks like he might take a bit of time to get going and settle in.

Very rusty but can tell he’s got something. Nowt came off for him. Vidigals second goal which was a peach came about after a superb bit of skill from Mmaee to get into a shooting position which was saved and Vidigal scored the rebound

He was OK, instrumental in the third goal and sending off. Struggled apart from that, couldn't really understand what sort of forward he is or what his role was but there's clearly a player there. Promising. If Viddy hadn't had such a blinder then I think we'd be taking more about him.

Average Some nice touches. Did well for the third goal though where their keeper made a good save from him after some good footwork to create the chance. Messed up a chance too where he probably should have taken another touch but he chose to try and finish it first time.

Looked to me like he’s used to getting a bit more time on the ball than he’ll get in this league. He was for me the least impressive of our debutants but still had a few nice contributions. A little unlucky not to score the chance that led immediately to Vidigal’s second after creating a clear sight of goal with a nice first touch only to be denied by a good save. More to come from him I think.

Compared to others it was a quiet debut but he put himself about and showed enough to see he’s going to be a good player for us.

He is going to be a player ,no 2 ways about it.
Was rusty and at times not on the same wavelength as the others ,especially DJ yet he played a big part in the 3rd goal and his clever turn forced the foul that led to the 2nd yellow for their player.

Clearly has good technical ability and was surprised how big he is. Not the tallest but muscular build.
As others have said a few good touches and unlucky not to score himself for Vidigal's second.
Once he gets used to the pace of the division I think we could have a real player on our hands.

Despite Neil's comments to the contrary, can't help thinking he would be better cutting in from the left or playing behind another number 9

He was beaten more often than not in the air, and didn't control the ball well at times. He's a much more technical striker with good awareness, carrying the ball forward well and knowing when to makes runs onto passes. Was impressed with the goal-scoring chance he made, and on another day that would have gone in. I do wonder whether he would be better playing alongside someone like Wesley, but he scored a bagful of goals as a lone forward for his previous club so he can obviously do the job there. He just needs a few games to bed into the pace and physicality of the Championship I reckon.

Think it'll take him a while to get used to this league, he reminds me of Maja.
I suppose the only way he'll figure it out is to play which is fine whilst other players are scoring and we're getting results.
I think Wesley is the better option mind.

A few times I thought he got the ball when he wasn’t expecting the ball. Made a couple runs thinking they were decoy but then surprised when he got the pass.
All seems to me that it’s a case of understanding the players around him which is fine. He’s got something to offer that’s for sure. Just need to get him used to the players around him.

He reminded me of Maja as well. He needs to sharpen up, Brown was making the runs that Mmaee should have been making but it's very early and he should be able to adapt and thrive as he does have a good touch and looks to be a clever player.

Certainly looked to my observations that he was initially deployed as a lone forward with Vidi and Brown supporting from the flanks.
