I get the feeling that Mmaee will most likely play as a wide forward in a 4-3-3. That’d be managerial suicide, we have at least 4 that can do that. He needs to play off the striker We won't if Campbell or Brown go (both?). I don't see it as suicide, players change positions all the time and going off his YouTube clips (I know) he likes to drift out wide and cut in quite a bit so it would make sense. |

Pearson Laurent Johnson in a 3 is still a bit too turgid for my liking. Onomah seems like he’ll sign but I wonder if we’re after any other midfielders. 4231 with Mmaee playing behind Wesley seems like an option if Pearson, Laurent and Johnson isn’t cutting it. |

It would be ironic and slightly disappointing if Campbell left now we've brought some proper footballers to the club who should help lift the burden off him. I think Campbell is on his way out, along with Gayle. I would be gutted because he's looked really sharp so far (Campbell, not Gayle) I'd be devastated if he left but I think it's pointing towards that. |

With our new shrewd recruitment model I reckon we will push for a pre contract agreement on Campbell to leave in January for say a 3 million fee providing he starts well for us. Or am I being daft? I thought I'd seen it somewhere that he'd got at least a few games on the flanks? Never sure if transfermarkt is 100% accurate, but 2 games according to them. Didn’t realise it was 5 subs now. Should hopefully suit squads like ours - nice to always have the option of bringing whichever wide players are benched on for the last 20 mins to run the opposition ragged. |

The sub’s bench is the key to altering a game that’s running away from you. AN had no game changers last season. He will have plenty this time round. |
