Jesus, telepathic understanding with Bayernoatcake! I’m off for a lie down😉 It’s the only team that makes any sense as it is though. Yep, apart from as Crouchy says, Daniel Johnson. I do imagine a few of these starting on the bench until they’re “up to speed” but I’d like to think that line up would be standard after a few weeks

Away it makes sense. At home? Defo the c word 🤣

I'm assuming he will be a like for like replacement for Campbell.
We're either going to win the league with a record total or finish bottom. Amazing.

Not saying he couldn't, but he doesn't seem to have any track record of playing as anything other than as a No.9, albeit one who likes to drop deep and roam a bit

Just thinking he’s perhaps more “championship ready” in the first few weeks but hopefully you’d think there would be a better option after the initial period

The size of my boner right now is fucking outrageous. Rotherham are going to get done 26-0. We are simply the biggest club in world football. Only one of those statements is true... That is the most depressing post I've read today as that sort of opinion just says to me that we don't score and Rotherham win 1-0.

Playing Mmaee as the No.10 in a 4-2-3-1 is a convenient answer to the 'who's going to get most minutes out of Wes and Mmm' question. But looking at his stats (according to transfermarkt), he has played as the (false-ish, but furthest forward) No.9 in 95% of his games. And would we be looking at Onomah, in addition to DJ, if that was the plan? Isn't it just as likely it'll come down to a decision between Wes and Mmmm depending on who we're playing (not sure how that split will work itself out if that's the plan though?) I get the feeling that Mmaee will most likely play as a wide forward in a 4-3-3.

Never sure if transfermarkt is 100% accurate, but 2 games according to them. He seems the type who could play there, or deeper, but he never really seems to have. www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ryan-mmaee/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/249543Centre-Forward 115 52 26 Second Striker 5 1 3 Right Winger 2 - 1
