Nah he was rushed in because the Oatcake alerted John Rudge to the rules. DaveJohnno was the conduit from messageboard to Rudge I think? I’m sure I haven’t made that up 🤣 FFS, I just spent 18 minutes digging up all of the posts and I could have just written this instead! Haha good work though. It’s why I scoff when people tell me to trust the club/professionals. |

I’m sure I haven’t made that up 🤣 Indeed I did. We thought we could leave someone out of the 25 man squad and add Owen after the deadline. When I told Rudgey you couldn’t do that, he went white and scarpered very quickly from the golf club. If we had 25 fit professionals they had to be named in the squad. You could only leave someone out if they were injured or if you had more than 25 senior professionals to select from. If I remember rightly, we had 26 senior pro’s and mama out with a long term injury. 😂😂😂 |

Last info I read on here was that he had left the club with a contract offered to him but that he was free to see if he could find better terms elsewhere. Good player but wage budget wise I suppose we could only have signed him if we moved Baker on. |

Understandably for him, he probably still wants good money. Understandably for clubs, they probably don’t want to pay it. Out of the two, he’s more likely to give in than the clubs. He’s a free agent and the longer clubs continue to go about getting their squads set up now the window has closed, the less likely they are to think about continuing to adapt them (as I see it, anyways). |

I’m amazed there’s been no takers. Is he still training with us? Since offering the contract, we have brought in Bae who should be first choice in that No 10, and we already have DJ as backup. Logically and ideally speaking, we would have shifted out Laurent to make space for Onomah. Not sure our wage ceiling can handle the both of them. |

At the time I meant more that our business was done and there was no room for him. We don’t know that he’s better than Laurent and Laurent is our Captain and us here for the foreseeable. Onomah would be a good option for us but there’s no room at the inn and we have bigger problems at centre back and centre forward that will only be resolved in January at the earliest. |

There was some dodgy stuff going on with his agents. Believe there were multiple people involved but he was in the process of getting rid and taking on a new agent. At which point we believed the deal would be signed.
That was the last I heard so it must’ve gone wrong somewhere, sounds like it was all very murky though.

All vying for 3 spots in the team. We don't need a 9th, especially one that stops Sidibe getting the minutes he needs to grow.

the only reason i think some of these players are still without clubs is due to greed, let them rot away,we don,t need them if we bought one in it would take at least 5 weeks to get them match fit, a true pro would keep himself fit and ready to go,,
