Probably waiting too long and expecting too much whilst he saw that we were after midfielders. But now that we've brought in a couple more, the cards on the negotiating table have turned. He could be left in limbo or end up accepting a far less attractive offer than he was holding out for.
Just a thought.

Tie him to a chair and force him to sign today! None of us really know why his contract was mutually terminated at Fulham, perhaps there are other reasons. I do cut the club some slack on this one though because they are closer to it. Maybe they are playing him, or he's playing us. I think if he'd got a better offer he'd be gone, but he hasn't so far. I have been told we have offered him a contract and he’s looking to see if he can get a better deal before the window closes. |

He's a nice to have in my opinion, but not critical. I'd much rather keep developing Sidibe in that position where we need cover.

It was a trial He's rumored to have been offered a year deal with 1 year extension, atm he's sounding out other clubs if nothing works out and we still want him (assume this depends on someone leaving) he'll come here |

He was at Preston last season so I imagine Paul Gallagher might have had something to do with his trial. Also possible one of AN’s contact’s recommended him.
