What's the deal with Vidi? Looked like bargain of the season when he arrived. Has he Just not got the mentality for the championship? Or is he simply not good enough and the purple patch when he signed was a mirage? He had a Bangoura epiphany 😉

Maybe he just fancies a good croissant? Hes just in France for what purpose exactly? Visiting the Louvre? Getting a haircut? Angers SCO If he does show up at Angers SCO I’ll keep you updated , I’ve got a season ticket there By the way SCO is Sporting Club of the Ouest ( west)

Vidi‘s just not very good.
Top scorer accolade a really poor indictment on the entire team.

You'd think that a Portuguese team would be willing to take him on loan and Vidi would prefer that over a saudi/turkish club.

I actually don't mind him He's handy cover wide and can score Understand that we don't need him especially and if we can reduce the wage bill that's fine

It's funny how things go.
This time last year Vidigal had grabbed a brace against Rotherham, scored the only goal of the match to beat Watford and he'd gunned down WBA in the EFL Cup.
When he got clogged against Millwall we all thought we'd lost our brightest shining star.

Vidigal is a decent finisher and has a lot of ability, I don't think Schumacher is the type of manager that will close the door on him. He might have been put on a programme to make him more effective in the championship.

If you've got no pace you have to be technically excellent to play in wide areas and he just isn't.

An absolutely rubbish footballer.
I suspect were happy to practically give him away, but nobody wants him.

I don't think he's good enough for the championship, especially physically. And I hope we can ship him out, but I do think the club let that Millwall game get into his head. We should have got him in the gym and give him the Rocky Balboa training program.

www.transfermarkt.co.uk/statistik/transferfenster10 more days in the Turkish window. Few other small leagues have their window open for a few more days, like Belgium and Switzerland, but surprised he didn't go on loan to some random Portuguese team. If he does stay, it'll be interesting to see how long his squad exile lasts. To leave him out for Keke Jeffers seems pretty pointed

He's the kind of showy player that if playing against us would be protected, but gets nothing from refs when he plays for Stoke. Everyone just kicked him out of games.

Different leagues having different dates is off the scale batshit crazy. Why can't we go back to just a transfer deadline day towards the end of the season?

His Stoke career has passed him by and quicker than that better options have stepped up to the plate. As Grapey says it's marked that a relatively unknown is on the subs bench. Looks like it's over here.

He had little protection compared to some other players in football. But as a person, you've got to assert yourself better on the pitch. He let it get to him. Once the fear got into his head we should have drilled it out of him. Psychologists, gym work, army style drills even boxing - whatever it takes to get the fear of the contact out of him! Sounds extreme but the development he needed to succeed here was not related to his football. He was sound until his opponents sussed out that he couldn't take a tackle.

Just had a look at his career, couldn't really hold a place down at Sittard. They were a Dutch second division at the time. Also his international places have dried up. Seems he just didn't develop properly during 2019-2021.

If he's been abroad all week trying to sort a deal somewhere presumably he hadn't trained? Is he now in a 1 man bomb squad, has he effectively left already or is he back training and available again?

Getting smashed at Millwall last season was his un-doing. Shite ref on the day gave him fook all protection. Never the same player since

if TNS can sell a Striker for 190k to Saudi, surely one of their clubs would be willing to take Vidigal off our hands.
