I remember the YouTube compilation video on Ramadan Sobhi which made him look like prime Ronaldo. Turns out, he was one of the slowest wingers I'd ever witnessed with my own eyes.

Ramadan had a great game away at West Ham I recall but I never saw him take a shot or put his foot through the ball. Very strange.

I was thinking the full Borat but in white with red stripes. The stripes would have to very thin. And there would no space on the back either for stripes OR a white panel FFS etc. |

He's only 26, get him back in The thing that struck me most about Ramadan was he couldn't even strike a football. During shooting practice he was lucky to reach the net. He just didn't know how to strike through the ball. Unbelievable for a pro. |

He was shocking at passing / shooting, but had a really good understanding of how to go past players with his lack of pace. |

This video suggests he's quick, skillful and will get supporters off their seats. Get him in. Reminds me a lot of Arnie at times on this video but with a smaller build. I agree with this. Some of his first touches on that video are outrageous. |

His career does look very patchy
Had a decent half season in the Dutch 2nd division for Fortuna Sittard, but didn't make it in the Dutch first division when they went up, or when he was loaned out to Cyprus.
Scored 6 goals in the Portuguese Div 2 on another loan, then moved to his current club.
Only managed 1 goal and 3 assists in his first season there
But had a bit of a breakthrough last season with 8 goals, albeit in a relegation campaign for his club. And his first decent season in any top league
Not a lot to hang your hat on for a player who'll be 25 next month, so no longer a youngster, especially with acclimatisation issues that'd come with the move.
But if it's only 500k and he's potentially an option from the bench, it's not a huge gamble in the scheme of things and is maybe a reflection of where we are.
But if he does come, you'd hope there's another wide option on the agenda to push Campbell and Brown more for starts

We've needed back ups on the wing for a while now. What I've seen posted on here I like the look of him he's willing to try different things as well which you need to drag the players out of position for those teams that sit in. Looks like he has pace to burn as well.
If we feel theirs a market their that's untouched and can improve players for the first team ir sell them on for a profit that's fine by me. Also every transfer is a gamble anyways I don't mind a risk like this one.

Looks a low value, low risk option. If he turns out to be decent then they'll get plaudits for pulling off such a shrewd signing. At least it's something different and, from the video, it looks like he has a bit of something about him. Can't be any worse than Celina.

If they think he's the best we can do on our budget, with so many other things needed, got to back them.
But it all seems to be based on his one good season at a decent level last season
