Sadly he’s nowhere near good enough for Championship football in my opinion,switches off far too much and considering all the hype when he signed I’d say he’s been a very poor signing so far

He was crap again yesterday. No reason at all why Wilmot couldn’t have played on the right which would have given us the option of an extra man in midfield.

I fear you may be right though. He's a magnificent physical specimen, a real pedigree animal, but is he a footballer I ask myself? Probably not. |

As soon as I’d seen him kick a ball for us I knew he wasn’t ready for the championship. That’s not to say he won’t be but he’s so far short technically and mentally it’s actually embarrassing for the lad. I would seriously consider sending him on loan to league one in January

The lad is still just 20 years old so has time on his side. However, he does need taking out of the firing line as it stands. He is not doing anything like a good job for us and it will be knocking his confidence significantly. I feel confident that there must be a player in there, as he was doing really well in league 2 before coming here. I think the idea of sending him out on loan to a league 1 club in January would be absolutely right for his development and for us in the long run.
That's assuming of course that the powers that be, whose track record to date isn't great, can find us a proper decent experienced right back to take over.

League 2 loan would be more appropriate, then we can buy or loan a 33+ RB with a poor injury record, who can play one game every 2 weeks
