US destroys 3 Houthi ships attempting to board a commercial ship. How long before Iran get fully involved in this conflict? Never? It’s not really their style. They like to fund terrorist groups. It gives them some shred of deniability in that they don’t control those groups. It also stops them from needing to enter and actual war with a Western Power.

Very brave of them, their future will involve them being sent to prison every time they refuse to serve……

So finally after 20,000+ civilians have been killed in Gaza and another 500 in the West Bank, a Hamas leader has been killed………in Lebanon.

How on earth is the British media still allowing such heinous rhetoric to be spewed on our airwaves?
What she is suggesting, is utterly vile!

Whilst the distinction between anti semitism and zionism is well understood on here, I think it is inevitable that one long term consequence of this conflict is that many people will now be polarised and entrenched as pro Jew/anti-Jewish or Pro Arab ( Muslim)/ anti-Muslim

Zionists have attempted to conflate antisemitism with antizionism for decades and indeed they have had great success in doing so. And there is absolutely no doubt, that in the West, when it comes to conflicts, the default position of many people automatically, is that Islam must be bad and non Islam is good, without even taking a nano second to consider those specific conflict's actual merits.

I think thst is true Paul, but I think Judaism has( quite understandably) had a lot of sympathy and consideration since the second world war / holocaust ....but in light of the current brutality I think much of that sympathy will evaporate...not just towards the Zionists but Jews in general. Likewise for many people the separation of Hamas/ Arabs/ Muslims will not matter so much when sides are polarised ....it's one or the other....in my opinion

I can't believe she is being given a platform to sew the seeds of such disinformation, especially when it is used to justify genocide.

Israel has been getting away with this for decades, it's nothing new and one of the reasons why they've been getting away with it, is because the public in the West aren't all that bothered, when it's 'brown' people on the end of a good kicking. As I said earlier, the mindset that Islam is bad and non Islam (by default) must be good, is nothing new, when it comes to showing an allegiance for many people. The polarisation has been there for a long time.

I realise it's nothing new in one se se Paul, but I do think thst the current events will " clarify" things in some people's minds...ie once being sympathetic to Jews, perceived as eternal ( deliberate) victims now actually seen as ruthless inhuman oppressors.

I hope that doesn't happen BJR but rather that many people in the West wake up to the evil of Zionism. Sadly, I think that is unlikely however, most people (it seems to me) aren't really bothered, period.

In a way I’m glad they keep rolling her out for interviews, it will be documented for future reference. Considering all these bold claims there’s still almost no physical evidence to back it up, it would be quite easy to rectify that surely?

Good old Labour Friends of Israel, they spend more time in Jerusalem then they do serving their constituencies I swear.
Ruth Smeeth and my current constituent Tory Labour MP Christian Wakeford are there as always.........

I've watched some of the live footage (of course the British main stream media didn't bother) and I must say South Africa's case to the ICJ has been excellent. Israel's response appears to be to shout "South Africa are Hamas sympathisers" over and over..........
