Could be an interesting decision to be had in January at this rate definite potential he could be recalled to challenge Travers and put Bonham out of equation

He's a talker too Good keeper He was the standout player for the 21s everytime I have watched them. Really good communicator and can tell he was an outfield player before going in goal. Ironically my only reservation was his height, he looked 1/2 inches on the small side to me. |

Travers is the best goalie we’ve had for a fair few seasons, and his injury record is decent so fingers crossed he stays fit and stays in relatively decent form. Can defo see simkin as our number 1 in the next 18-24 months though. |

He needs to continue to play games. Bursik played well in league 1 and couldn’t make the step to championship. Let’s give him time to develop. |

Didn't we go down this route with Bursik after a couple of very decent loans, look how that turned out. Joe came back off his 1st loan I think and was very good . He looked very good was playing well , think he got dropped after a mistake , came back again and looked shot , then his Father died so not a good time for him .But hopefully he will turn it around . |

Hopefully, we get to assess him next pre-season and find a place higher up the ladder (even just league 2) where he can grow. Bonham would excel in the Conference as well. |

I’ve known of Tommy for some time now.
He’s got the attitude to go a very long way. Played his first game in goal almost by accident at under 14. Look at him now, involved in every England camp, smashing it on loan at Solihull Moors at just 18. He will definitely be Stoke No1 in a couple of years time.

Ah I see, that's not how I read it Yes completely agree To be fair re Bursik we had a bonkers injury crisis even the short term keepers we signed got injured Bursik was a bit odd, really good at lots of stuff but did let too many soft ones in Still very young for a keeper though |

There are leagues that play in the summer, the obvious one being Republic Of Ireland
Would like to see Stoke have a good relationship with an Irish club, get our kids out there playing in the summer
