Fair play to him. Obviously doesn't want to get paid for doing nothing for another year. I'm sure we didn't pay him off š If we paid his contract up in full then there would have been no business sense in doing so because it wouldn't help in FFP at all. |

I don't think we should be congratulating him when he can get a good payout and then go and play for someone else. I'm sure he'll earn more this year than last. |

Class for Preston, crap for us. Didn't play him as he was deployed at Preston which probably didn't help, but don't think he helped himself either. Seemed to lack the energy and guile he did have when he played against us.

Y'know when you go on a stag do (possibly abroad) and you don't really know most of the people on the stag do but one of them suggests going into a certain pub that you know will be terrible but you agree because you don't want to appear to be a dissenter. Then, after all agreeing that this pub is wank you go to another one that you suspect will be equally as shit (and turns out to be just that) but you tolerate it all the same - just like most of the group do - so as not to appear like Mr 'I told you so'? Daniel Johnson is both those pubs. |

Another good signing. An energetic, dependable player with plenty of talent and a physical presence. Our midfield is going to be competitive next season. Going back to last summers comments when he signed and this is an absolute belter from March. Oops! |

Liked the look of Johnson at PNE, didnāt really see much of the player I was expecting when he came here. Good luck to him, but itās the right thing to do to move him on.
Interesting to see him still being involved with the first-team in training footage and that, despite his future here seemingly have been finished since Blackburn away. Suggests both his professionalism and Schumacherās man management are in a good place.

Pearson, Johnson and Ennisā¦. Surely the end of the Head Coach/Manager being allowed to sign his own players! still maintain Pearson could have a use Iām probably being too harsh. I just canāt shake the thought he seems a different player before and after Neill though. For that initial loan spell he seemed like a no brainer signing. |

Played really well as a wing back in an away win midweek, can't remember which game it was Hull maybe? EDIT IT wasn't a win it was Huddersfield away when we drew 2-2 and should have been out of sight. But he played really well  |
