Done. M. Nice one Mick 🙂 I'm impressed! It's gone from 503 when I posted the link to over 650 this morning!?! You've evidently activated the Oldstokie massive 😉

Why are people experimenting like trial-and-error without knowledge?

The lives they've saved, taking that lot out of circulation! Some oversized toddler could've choked on one of those.

Why are people experimenting like trial-and-error without knowledge? 'People' have done so since before they were people, lots of mammals look for ways to alter their state of consciousness, how d'you think widespread human use of alcohol came about?

I know that, but why? Because it's what they want to experience in their short time on this planet. What is it you have a problem with?

Forcing cannabis dispensary's to deal in cash obviously makes them a target for robbery, ridiculous situation.

Synthetic drugs such as this are obviously a direct consequence of drug prohibition, this isn't the first and it definitely won't be the last. If the kids in school are using THC vapes they're already breaking the law, again, one of the results of drug prohibition, drug dealers don't require proof of age. I don't think it's that worrying at the moment, it's extremely sad for the one person that's died and their family and friends but to put it into perspective, if past years are any indication, over 1200 people will have lost their lives this year so far, thanks to drug prohibition. At a rate of around 13 per day approximately 5 will have died already today. 4,839 died in 2021, that number will have increased, obviously.

Great question 🙂 I don't know of any significant nation that has ended prohibition completely by following a legislation and regulation model, I suppose Portugal and Switzerland are two that spring to mind that are most relevant but drugs are only decriminalised (to some degree) in those places. transformdrugs.org/blog/drug-decriminalisation-in-portugal-setting-the-record-straightwww.drugpolicyfacts.org/node/1684In both instances drug deaths are down as are acquisitive crime figures.

I would imagine the data for every drug would be different, some may increase some may decrease.

Common sense and utter nonsense - hightimes.com/news/u-k-eases-restrictions-on-hemp-agriculture/'The number of licensed hemp growers in the U.K. has increased significantly over the past 10 years, from only six in 2013 to 136 in 2023. Farming Minister Mark Spencer said in a statement that the new rules will give British farmers more opportunities to succeed by growing hemp. “Industrial hemp has huge potential across the UK to unlock new revenue streams, expand our bioeconomy without permanently removing land from food production, and bring wider environmental benefits,” said Spencer, according to a report from FarmingUK.' 👏 However - 'The government also noted that it expects the nation’s police to continue to take a zero-tolerance approach to cannabis possession. Under U.K. drug laws, possession of cannabis can be punished by a fine and jail sentence of up to five years, with harsher sentences of up to 14 years behind bars for cannabis distribution convictions.' 🤦 This just isn't happening, there are many cannabis clubs throughout the UK operating quite happily, causing society and individuals no issues whatsoever and are, quite rightly, left to go about their business in the vast majority of cases, probably because the police can see how utterly ridiculous it would be to prosecute.

A terrible thing happened on Wednesday when an innocent man was shot to death and for no reason in a tunnel, when he and his son were on their way to the swimming pool practise. He might have said something to them, but the investigation is far from done and the police haven't caught the gang criminal/s. Not that much info yet.
R.i.p man!🕯️
It's the #1 discussion topic here now. In tv interviews, on the radio, at work, even on the bus yesterday.
And the reaction among the Swedes is VERY clear and goes in one direction. Get the drug users out. Their argument for this is: this would never had happened if there were no drug users here, since then there had not been any gangs of that sort.
Alcohol seems to be a completely different story so you can't blame alcohol they say, since it can be bought at a special store controlled by the state. The gangs have no control of alcohol. You don't see them deal with alcohol, do you. The police neither.. But the drugs are controlled by the gangs, so get them out, all the users and all gang members.
Interesting logic thoughts?
Both the people here and the government and most of the former government parties seem to share these thoughts now, the hate has definitely grown!
The former Prime Minister said on prime time National TV last time something tragic like this happened "it's you people who gets a party drug at the weekend who are to blame for this murder!".
That time it was a gang member's wife who got shot. This time it was a person who had no relation whatsoever with them, so no wonder it's a very unpleasant and even worse mode here now. You can almost touch it in the air. It won't take long until a poor heroine addict or something is beaten to death in the city center. However, it won't be first side stuff.
As a result the government's largest party got a bit higher amount of votes now. The choice of words is similar to the Sweden Democrats though, so they simultaneously decreased a bit , but not as much.
