I really like this signing. He’s had a season in the Championship so should know what it’s all about and be able to hit the ground running unlike the likes of Clarke, Philogene-Bidace and Delap who all showed they were much better after their initial loan spell with us. Jack Clarke had 29 games in the Championship to his name before the 14 he played at our place. Wasn't he coming back from a big injury just before he came to us?? |

From memory yes, but it’s not like he suddenly became a decent player after his stint with us. He already was but was used/developed far more effectively at Sunderland. |

Yep, guess this means Cundle wont happen Think Moran will be good though Suppose it depends if we need spend the money on say a striker instead of using a chunk for cundle. Get this lad on loan and use the money elsewhere |

Output isn’t as good as Cundles, but he interesting to see how he gets on.

Irregardless he clearly wasn’t up to speed with Championship football prior to joining us due to combination of not getting anywhere near Spurs side and an injury. He’s gone on to show he’s much better with Sunderland. Same principle still applies with Moran. |

Know nothing of him as a player but if reports are to be believed, he is exactly the type of midfielder we need, creative around the box with an eye for a pass. Our signings this summer are consistently in areas we needed to improve, GK, CB, LB, CDM, CAM, CF, Wide forward.
A RB, Striker and maybe a CB and we are done

Whether or not he signed in time, it’s a big ask to go straight in and play. But if you look at the tweet, it could have been done a lot earlier; the announcement time appears to be on purpose, the club/media team are playing with the fact it’s often mentioned on here that we only announce players at 6pm on a Friday “come the day, come the hour…” 👏 😆

Pretty good from the recruitment team.
Refuse to pay over the odds for Cundle so go and get an identical player (possibly better player) in on loan within a few days of Cundle move breaking down.

The biggest difference between Cundle an Moran is that Cundle would be our player to develope etc and get possible profit for his sale. Otherwise I really can't tell who is better player, they look pretty even-steven.
I'd rather we had signed Cundle but then again if the saved transfer fee goes towards striker then thats also fine by me.

Clarke whilst widely regarded as not being great for us benefitted himself by playing Championship football in the lead up to his following move. Just like I think Moran will be better for us having played for Blackburn in the Championship last season despite not being roundly endorsed by Blackburn fans. |
