Frase says so, but would've thought it would have had to start earlier than that if we wanted to get it sorted to get him involved tomorrow? Not sure how long they’d usually take. I’d imagine if the paperwork’s done it doesn’t matter if medicals after. A loan medical is not as stringent as one for a purchase. It's mainly for insurance purposes I think and he will already be on Brighton's policy and will return there if he gets injured. |

In my mind, Bosun Lawal is probably the replacement for Laurent considering he is a physical center mid who excels at carrying the ball up the pitch. I like Laurent though, I thought he played really well at the weekend against Cov, just wish he gave that kind of performance on a more consistent basis. |

Lauren is very slow in possession, doesn’t move the ball quickly enough for me and slows play down. Not the beast he should be in midfield he should be either. |

Find myself agreeing with both these posts Exactly how I see it. Thompson lets the others play, by winning the ball for them. He's very under-rated on here. yes I agree with the counter points made though re his flaws & agree that if Pearson ever gets fit despite his very stupid cards he's the better player |

He is a totally undisciplined player, which he demonstrated in both the last friendly and first league game. A sending off and a daft yellow card. Needs to control his mouth and concentrate on his football. |

I'd imagine if it had been official and made the deadline they'd have released the signing video and such by now. Its not like its a weekend. I'd imagine this will be a Monday confirmation at best now if thats the case. Looking forward to seeing how he gets on. |

I really like this signing.
He’s had a season in the Championship so should know what it’s all about and be able to hit the ground running unlike the likes of Clarke, Philogene-Bidace and Delap who all showed they were much better after their initial loan spell with us.
