Think his surname was Sheldon if my memory serves me well? I was there that night at Dirty Dirty Leeds...He was a promising young right winger with a bright future and that was the end of his career at the age of 17/18? When I heard Mr Sheldon (his dad) being summoned over the tannoy you kind of knew it was bad news...........................................Can't wait to see Leeds relegated on Sunday! Joe Jordan did it Think he had a comeback v Wigan at some point but that was it for ‘Bomber’

Was Kenwyn not clean through with just the keeper to beat at Wembley, probably my only chance in my lifetime to see Stoke win a major trophy??
Score that and we don't lose......
Never watched a replay or highlights of that game, never will.

Graham Potter, I could have scored that, the foul on Banksie that gave the arse a corner from which they got the penalty

Springfield Park, muddy bank behind the goal, pissing down, Alan Ball, 4-0. Still haunts me to this day.

Charlie Adam's penalty miss against Brighton was the most surreal football moment I think I've been in. There wasn't even much reaction to the miss or rebound around me, it was just deathly quiet and resigned even when we had one cleared off the line from the resultant corner it was just silent all around or at least felt that way.
Kenwyne missing his 1 on 1 with Joe Hart in the cup final.
Peter Thorne's hat-trick for Cardiff in 2003 absolutely broke my young heart.

the moment that our illustrious board came back from Spain empty handed and decided it was all ok we would hire Paul Pissing Lambert instead rather we had hired peppa fucking pig At that point I knew we were doomed!

Blythe Spartans was horrendous, but as a younger man the draw against Arsenal in the semis in Sheffield after being 2-0 up. Bob Wilson sitting on the ball (thus stopping the shot) rather than actually saving it.

Charlie's penalty miss.
Everything to do with Arnie leaving us.
All the bastard injuries leading up to the FA Cup final.
And finally, a bit of a strange one, but the Notts County promotion win. I should have been there to experience the mental to end all mentals, but got let down badly at the last minute. I was 14 at the time, and it haunted me that I'd missed that celebration. The ghost was only exorcised when we won promotion to the Premier League in 2008.

Think he had a comeback v Wigan at some point but that was it for ‘Bomber’ His first comeback game for the 1st team was in a 4-0 home win against Oldham (under Alan Durban) after 2 years out. He came on as a sub, looked really sharp and then put his foot in a "pothole" on the pitch while sprinting past his full back and seriously injured his ankle.

I never knew that, thought his career had ended at Leeds, I was in the Navy by then and you didn't get any news back then unless mum posted the Sentinel out, which never happened.

Rolling into Valencia after a 20hr coach journey to be greeted with the news that TP had named a weakened (and not even full) squad for one of the biggest games in our history.

Be about 1972 - my dad said do you fancy going to a football match - yes I replied wondering if it would be Old Trafford or the equally adjacent Anfield - I’ll show you where I used to stand when I used to go to Stoke was his response. It’s haunted me ever since.

A fairly recent one, the fourth goal v Arsenal being ruled out for offside, they then came back out second half and scored 2 and made for a nervy finish when it shouldn’t have been

Arsenal FA Cup Semi Final. Two nil up and thinking we are on our way to Wembley. Left Hillsborough crying as a 12 year old. Never ever forgot that moment Me too, although I'm a lot older and had travelled from South Wales where I worked then. It was even worse than that - Two nil up, Conroy was having a 'mare, and Marsh was sat on the bench unused. More recently, I can't get out of my head beating Leicester in our last season in the Prem and literally throwing the match away with Butland mishandling the ball into the net. My heart sank that day and knew deep down we were heading for relegation.

Cardiff at home 21/22 took a bit of getting over
Vale turning us over at home on a number of occasions in the 90s/early 2000s. Why did they always seem more up for it than us?

Mark Hughes celebration when he saved Southampton from relegation the year he was instrumental in us going down.
Saved one team, relegated another and charged around the pitch with thoughts only on his massive bonus.
