Nothing my feelings haven't changed from her predecessor and won't for her replacement. You do realise it's the Scottish Nationalist party what do you expect them to do? it's not like they're some proscribed terrorist organisation. Maybe you'd be more sympathetic to their rights if they were.Wow

That's Ardern and now Sturgeon. We just need Trudeau to fall on his sword for the set!
I'd love it if JK Rowling decided to run as an independent and got in 😉

Davidson and now Sturgeon what's happening north of the border? There seems to be a worldwide fall off of Female political leaders and heads of Government, as we return slowly to a male dominated political theatre. Not long ago you couldn't count the number of female world leaders on two hands, including Theresa May, Angela Merkle, Jacinta Adherne, perhaps Kamala Harris and so on. Now most of these have gone including more party leaders, such as Ruth Davison, Nicola Sturgeon, Jo Swinson (Lib Dem) amd Arlene Foster (DWP)

Sturgeon was a really proficient politician although the issues of post Covid have now probably caught up with her together with the mess of the self certification issue.

A sad loss to politics, maybe left it a little too long but at her best she was witty, sharp, intelligent and personable.

I have a couple of Scottish friends and they were delighted. They’re just worried about who’s taking her place.

Intelligent politician though she and the SNP have been able to sit in a sweet spot of anything good: 'down to us', anything bad: 'those rotten Tories down at Westminster'.

Holding a press conference shortly. She’s ‘had enough’ apparently. Does that mean the other part of the Crankies is now going solo?

Themselves being unelectable Labour don't do much better up there either The Labour Party up there is a basket case - and I’m lifelong Lo about. They’ve made a real mess of it - disorganised rabble. They’ve now a chance to be a real opposition, something sadly lacking up there. They’ll mess it up guaranteed.
