think Burnley started their opening negotiations at £7m-8m from memory, so hopefully we can extract a bit more value.

It'd be good if they got involved in an auction with Leicester. Whether they'd let Moyes sign any players with the sack hanging over him is another question though.
They've previously said they'd only let him go if they got a replacement in .
The Iversen bit of any deal may be key for us though?

If we get Iversen as part of the deal and we pay the 15% to Dundee we'll be lucky to end up with £5m for anything else Gouranga. |

But we wouldn't be getting 5 million for Souttar we'd be getting close to 10 million (and more hopefully) then minus Iverson if thats part of the deal. "lucky to get £5m for Souttar" doesn't really scan |

What's a realistic fee? Age 24 Contracted until 2025 In terms of Champ-Prem moves... The only big recent centre-half seems to be Adam Webster, who went from Bristol City to Brighton for about £20m in 2019 And didn't we end up with about £15m for Collins in the end with the sell-on %? And his value had increased to £20.5 in 2021 after a season at Burnley Maddison (2018) , Bowen (2020), Maupay (2019), Bowen (2020) went for about 20 - and Watkins went for about 28, rising to 33 (2020) - and Benrahma ended up costing West Ham about the same. Lewis-Potter went for about 16 last summer. Djed Spence cost £12.5 rising to 20 And Adam Armstrong 15. Ben White cost £50m, but had the one season in the Prem back at Brighton and had played for England. What kind of fee would get us to pick the phone up? Low-20s? £20m as a starting point and hopefully a bidding war will ensue..... Prepare to be disappointed I fear! 😂 I think we forget that we are Stoke. Same as Collins (~12-15m) is fine for us given how desperate we are, with add-ons and clauses.
They wanted over 4m for Iversen according to one journo (Percy/nixon?) so I'd be surprised if he comes here.

If that was all we got for him then we might as well give up. Leicester are supposed to value Iverson at £5 million and I didn't see him playing in the knockout stages of the World Cup. |

Aside from Arnie we’ve been shafted at every turn… Clubs know we are in a precarious situation tottering on relegation, stuck in ffp mire and desperate for cash to strengthen in order to avoid the dreaded drop. Buyers have the ball firmly in their court ……posters may want 20m as a starting point but sadly 5m will be a starting point imo. If Iverson is valued at 5m then we may get a couple of million plus iverson if that’s the way we choose to go. |
