We're been played like a fiddle Because we turned their bid down? no just in general, other teams know our financial position, know we are currently up shit creek without a paddle and are taking full advantage, cant blame them either.

But saying they've played us like fiddle would suggest we fell for it and they got what they wanted, we didn't and turned it down.

We wanted rid of the loans and they look to be going, Bursik was always going to be a low fee as he clearly wasn't wanted and probably wanted away anyway and there's been nothing else.

Oh and we’ve absolutely fucked it with FFO unless we sell souttar too How have we done that? We appear to have complied last season and 2018/19 when we lost close to the max drops out of the calculation and we have the Collins money and most of our big transfer values were written off. We must have a budget of over £40 million including £13 million of allowable losses. Hard to see how we would overspend, might be tight but not catastrophic It’s not catastrophic no, but it’s not the best and to sell Harry would be beneficial on all parties and help out balance the books for future business too. To be quite honest I don’t really know much more but from what I’m told it’s better to sell Harry now or summer due to FFP

No club had us over on those deals but the fees were disappointing for the quality of player we were losing.

If it means shedding a load off the wage bill it could be difficult to put a team out hence....we sell Soutts rather than three others.

If you read the thread I'm one of the few posters who is not surprised that we'd overstretched in the Summer gone and are now having to rectify the situation to avoid sanction but if we were only over by the Fosu and Sterling unplanned expenditure we should have covered that by what we've shed already in this window. With a fee for Bursik and the wages we've got rid of.

Those figures the other week don't factor in the sale of the ground or the sale of Collins etc. The guys who seem to understand accounting were saying wed be ok re ffp. Now all of a sudden it seems we need to sell Souttar just to balance the books. If this is the case and we can't bring in 3 or 4 players with that money we are in very serious trouble (even if it is only to finance higher end loans). I made a joke earlier in the day about selling Tena Lady pads because of all the moaning that we haven't made any signings yet. On second thoughts I'll keep them as I might need them myself.

The guy is a class act and deserves to be playing football at a much better team/league than us. Go and get your move, H as well as a bit of cash for us.

The offer of 10 million is another sign that being a Stoke player seems to knock the value down by 50 to 60 percent It would help if he was English. He’s classed as HG I’m sure. As he was with us before his 18th birthday.
