We haven't signed anyone we might get one loan in ( a keeper) unless more players leave we won't get more than that imho If we've lost a goalkeeper and a striker and we only replace one, we are nailed on to go down. We can't finish the season with Gayle, Brown & Campbell as our only striker options. The keeper situation is baffling. We must have someone incoming otherwise it’s criminal to let Bursik go.

If only we could have afforded Josh Bowler & John Swift It really does look like we’re shopping in bargain bins doesn’t it and those saying we have no money to spend are not far off the truth. Very worrying if that’s the case.

I just dont see Neil going for Gelhardt
I also just read West Brazil looking to offload Karlan Grant and Kenneth Zahore
Both would be in price range and both are battering rams

Looks like quite a tidy player from what little i've seen of him, good with his feet, runs at the defence, decent shot on him, similar age but a bit closer to the finished article than Delap And more importantly a cheap option again. As things stand we haven’t got money to spend though.

Story getting a bit more traction Peter O'Roarke is as reliable as anyone Don't understand this. Why swap one unproven young striker for another when the first failed to make an impact? It's just wishful thinking that this one might come off. Given we are trying to go long an experienced target man would make more sense. It's not that I'd go for that type of player as a matter of choice - that way of playing is awful to watch and had its day at this level - but it does make sense given what we appear to be doing.

I thought we were looking at loans to buy, rather developing other clubs players, only to return them to their parent club. Leeds wouldn't let him leave permanently would they?.

Does look like he's picked up a quad injury though.

Instead of bringing in a young lad on loan, why not just give our own young lad go?

Didn’t realise Blackpool signed Josh Bowler & Morgan Rogers from City on loan. 2 good signings especially Bowler, could have done with a player like that who can take on defenders The two wingers and Tom Trybull would walk into our side at present, as would Knockeart, Lowton and Waghorn who have signed for Huddersfield. Very worrying. Meanwhile at the Palace of Eternal Slumber, ST4...

Very worrying. - Bowler walks into the side but he can only play for Blackpool this season. - Lowton is a right back - one thing we definitely don’t need this window is a right back unless loanees go back. - Waghorn is bang average and I don’t agree he’d walk into our side. - Knockeart probably would get into our side. The young loanees are an unknown entity really, again there’s no guarantee they’d walk into our side. Neil has also said he’s not really wanting to loan younger players just to develop them for their parent clubs.

How the fuck are Blackpool managing to sign players from Europe.
Millwall's best player was signed for £2m from the Dutch league.
Yet we blow most of our budget on Dwight Gayle, 3 years after he was any good.
Do we even have any scouts? or do we just watch reruns of premier league years and pick our targets from there?

Yet another case of we say one thing, yet do another It's the way of the championship though, Tammy Abraham, Reece James, Mason Mount, Tomori, the list is endless where players went on development loans and were brilliant. To just say we're not going to develop other team's players is very shortsighted, albeit the one's we've had so far have been wank but is that their fault or ours?

Instead of bringing in a young lad on loan, why not just give our own young lad go? I know it’s not a direct indicator of quality, but Tezgal is in the top 10 highest potential young players on FM23. So they’ve reasons to believe he could be something special. Again not a clear indicator but they’ve been known to be accurate.

I get the impression that John Coates does the scouting and buys players himself. Sometimes influenced by his wife “oooooh he looks nice”.
